Vaped in Hospital (Canada)

Got back from surgery today and wanted to say it was quite easy using my 510 no LED toy both pre & post op.

I had my case for my glasses that I also kept my PV in, and although I didn't blatantly vape, nor did I hide it, I wasn't bother at all which made all that waiting more bearable !

Couple of other patients in post op recovery saw me, but I think they probably thought they were hallucinating or something after the general anesthetic, haha.

Now, if I had brought a mod or was flamboyant about blowing clouds of vapor arrogantly, then I think I would have been approached.

But, luckily that wasn't the case, and all it took was a little mutual respect. Although, being a rather larger than normal guy probably helped a tiny bit.

Good to hear everything went well. The PV's have saved my butt quite a bit when I travel or have to go places where I cannot get my nicotine intake.
Nothing like stealth vaping at a company meeting!

My wife was in ICU for a week. I went outside to vape. While I was out, my 'smoking' trip was mentioned and my wife explained to them that I was vaping, and how nice it was. Her attending nurse approached my when I returned. She took information on the e-cigs, and told me they had no problem with me vaping in the ICU. Turned out pretty cool.

I honestly believe that acceptance or non basically is dependent on your approach.

There is "always" a way to appease those nay Sayers with a little calm common sense...... at least that's how its been for me.

yes but you live in an area where common sense is common in the states common sense has been replaced with mass hysteria thanks to the FDA and schools.

Hey..... its not all daisies and happy thoughts over here ya know! We've got our freaks, zombies, and power trippers here too that just can't seem to mind their own business or have a "genuine" thought of their own.

It's a global thing, just different levels of escalation. We're all doomed to the uneducated and unrealistic followers, and lets face it...... They grow EVERYDAY in numbers due to lacking individualism and ethical thought !!
