I agree that we should not just pull it out an "freely" blow a cloud of smoke...... people just are not aware that it is not a real cigarette...
I mean sure.. who in this day and age would actually light up indoors or wherever smoking is not accepted and just puff away like it was nobody's business... sure, some vapers think there is a common sense factor that "other people" should just know that they would not do such a thing, that they are not breaking the law or disrespecting others....
but you are disrespecting others if they don't know what is really going on.... pulling a replica toy gun out in the open would really freak people out too, you would not even have a chance to explain that one!!
and, you can't just go around and ask everybody if they mind while explaining that it is not really smoke...
best bet is to stealth without drawing attention,, or, just continue to use your vaping habit, the same as you would cigarettes.... use it outside or wherever smoking is permitted.... we survived when we smoked, we'll survive now...
plus, if you vape where others are smoking, it gives it exposure and maybe a smoker will become interested and ask questions and become a vaper also.
the key to getting the "right" to vape where we want is to increase it's presence, getting more people to use it,,, then we have a voice!
but remember, the FDA has not approved this equipment... and realisticly,, we really don't know if we are causing some sort of affect on others or ourselves. there are no tests!
just because the common sense of vaping is logical to us,, doesn't make it true without proof!
I realized this when my son asked me.. "dad, what will that vapor cloud do to me?" I couldn't say 100% that is was totally healthy for him... all I could say was that It didn't have all the harmful stuff a cigarette does...
which made me think about the nicotine content,,, I don't really know, no one really knows.... we need testing done!
just my thoughts, thanks
