[QUOTE=Royal;7289] So what's next? "SHOW ME YOUR PAPERS!" [QUOTE]

Not quite. We already have to show our papers. The next step is a prostate exam.

Yes, I opt-out of the scanner, but it's amazing how many people go through it. A long line of "sheeple". Everyone complains, but when the chips are down, they do it with no questions asked.

The pat-down is really nothing, unless you get an idiot doing it.

I need a Tee Shirt that says;

I got a free handjob at Houston Intercontinental Airport.

My idea is to issue each passenger a gun. Turn them in when you leave the plane.

Sorry Mike, I don't understand your way of thinking.

We do not have to give up our rights for safety. This whole political correctness BS is fast becoming Orwellian.

The Fourth Amendment (Amendment IV) to the United States Constitution is the part of the Bill of Rights which guards against unreasonable searches and seizures. The amendment specifically also requires search and arrest warrants be judicially sanctioned and supported by probable cause. It was adopted as a response to the abuse of the writ of assistance, which is a type of general search warrant, in the American Revolution. Search and arrest should be limited in scope according to specific information supplied to the issuing court, usually by a law enforcement officer, who has sworn by it.

I might add, TSA personnel, the ones doing these body searches are not law enforcement officers.

Do you feel it is reasonable to search a blue haired granny in a wheel chair for bombs, while a Muslim is allowed to pass unchecked? Because waivers such as this for Muslims is what is being proposed right at this very moment. So how is this going to keep us safe I ask? Do I as a natural born American lend sufficient probable cause for such a search, when I do not fit the profile of those who have committed such heinous acts of terrorism. Oh yes, here lies the problem, we can't profile because it is politically incorrect.

It is time to wake up and smell the coffee, because under this administration, those of us who are willing to defend our rights and our country are the ones who are being considered the terrorists.

Oh, I forgot to mention, It came out in the news earlier today, that was stated in a Government document, "Anyone who speaks out against this is to be considered and labeled as a domestic extremist."

Meanwhile, we are doing exactly what these terrorists want us to do, strip ourselves of our rights and freedoms.
And you are right Jim, next a terrorist will shove a stick of dynamite where the sun never shines, then out comes the anal probes. Come on Mike, bend over and take it like a man, so we can all feel safe in knowing you aint going to blow anything out your arse.

Geeze, I guess they forgot all about using bomb sniffing dogs. But of course that would not cost nearly as much and would not strip us of our constitutional rights and freedoms. But one thing is for sure, these new naked body scanners are making a few people very very rich.

Hey guys, made it to AMS, figured Smokum would have a interest!!

Luckily OKC does not have back-scatter yet and did not have to go through secondary screening at MSP.

Yep it is getting ridiculous, don't need to but you now can't carry or check-in toner cartridges!

I
.
It is kind of sad how things are these days .Now if you can just get terrorists to abide by the constitution and the rules of war we would be ok but unfortunatly law abiding goverenments have to follow the rules and terrorists can just use them against us.It really doesn't matter what TSA or any goverenment agency does ,they will be second guessed and armchair quarterbacked .It is similar to the US goverenment picking up the tab for people who choose to live in areas prone to hurricanes and wildfires ,this USA and we can live where we choose but if something goes wrong it is the goverenments fault for not protecting us from ourselves and so everyone pays.
