First check the voltage on your original battery, and inspect the connector. It may either be flooded or have some corrosion built up on it from your juice leaking. If so wipe it clean and dry with a tissue, and if it looks tarnished, gently clean and remove the tarnish as well.
Leakage is common with these tanks, especially if your juice is thin to begin with. On a hot day, heat will cause the juice to become even thinner. For other reason as well, e-juice should be kept out of direct sunlight and heat.
The holes in the tank end caps wear over time, if leaking becomes more evident, try replacing your tank, or at least the end cap with a new one.
If your juice appears to be really thin, try using a mixture of VG to thicken it a bit.
My main problem with these were from it not siphoning, when this occured, I would pop the tank off and blow in to the atty, not sure why, but this helped it to start siphoning again. I also found that the tanks worked best when only 3/4 filled.
