My name is Mike, and I've recently started taking up the art of the e-cig. Granted, I did so without looking up anything.

It all started off in 7-11, where I saw, what looked to be magnificent, an Xhale 02. My gf's dad just recently had medical problems related to smoking, so we were both trying to quit. I went in, bought a starter kit for $19.99 and a pack of 10 pre-filled carts for $14.99. Not bad, I thought to myself.

Before all this, and to this day, I am a nic addict. I crave it. But not just any old nic. I've been a ryo guy for the last seven years, starting with bali shag, and switching to stokebye. I enjoyed my smokes.

So back to 7-11. I read my instructions, charge, and start puffing away. The starter kit came with 1 atty, 1 battery and 4 pre-filled carts(18mg). Now these didn't seem so bad. When I broke into my extra pack of carts, I noticed something wrong by the second one. I wasn't satisfied.

Due to my lack of looking at ANYTHING, I failed to notice the tiny sticker at the bottom of the package that said "NO." And i had bought the ones with no nic. Thank god I had some tobacco and papers left over. Of course, I went to 7-11 and bought the ones that said "MAX."(22mg) Much more satisfying.

Now we come here. After reading so much, I only wish I had done so earlier. As of ten minutes ago, I got one of the carts apart, so I'm pretty sure I can refill. Finding a good flavor will be fun, I think.

My only problem is that I'm not sure what type exactly it is. I know the battery is vacuum type, but the atty doesn't exatly look like anything I see on the ident guide. Other than that, I think I'm done with the opening ramblings.

Welcome .It is sometimes hard to identify those offbrands ,you would be way ahead of the game to just go to Electronicstix and get any of the kits he sells.You will not have trouble finding parts and it will be a more enjoyable experience alltogether.I use the Joye type and he has some very good liquids ,you will just have to try an assortment untill you find some flavors you like.

No one knows how this FDA thing is going to shake things up.In the least vendors will have to be carefull about labeling and claims made in advertising.Worse case we end up buying from big tobacco and not having the options we have .

well with the PACT ACT and E-cigs being classifieds as a tobacco product. i foresaw that like royal a long time ago. the only option sooner or later will be homebrew flavors for are store bought carts. PACT makes it near impossible for internet vendors to stay in biz. then are next choice is njoy from 7-11 and only two flavor reg,ment that's it end of line.

so glad i was able to step away from the power cord and lighter.

An update, if you will.

I have now been currently analog free for 17 days. Even tried one just to see. Granted, it was filtered and pre-made for me, but it was the most disgusting thing. Might have had a different opinion if it had been some good tobacco, but I plan never to go down that road again.

I am currently still using my xhale o2 that I bought from 7-11, but a new piece of hardware is in the works. I have to say, after having tried a 510 and an 808, I'm still a huge fan of my xhale. It produces massive amounts of vapor, and the batteries (I have two), last me long enough to not have to wait to puff. Nothing has broken down yet. The only complaint I have is with the first atty I got. But that's probably my own dumb fault during my first two weeks. The second atty is my baby.

I've played around with DIY, but only to the extent of cutting and modifying the e-juices I already have. Quite fun once I discovered the enjoyment of a little VG in my mix.

I suppose that's it for now, but still only the beginning.

The discoveries will keep on coming.You might look into making a box mod with parts from Madvapes.If you know what connecter you have you can build one to fit most popular atties/cartos.It is nice have bigger batteries and a reliable switch.

As it is, I'm geeking out already. I've found out what it is. 502A,B or C. haven't gotten around to measuring it. Found what looks to be replacement parts. Slightly rethinking my idea of buying an eGo. But probably not, seeing as how my shite looks like a cigarette, and I'd rather it didn't.
