I never seriously considered quitting "analogs" until an acquaintance turned me on to e-cigs. I ended up getting a Tornado Tank for both myself and my husband (who has tried a myriad of was to quit and let me just say that Chantix was a NIGHTMARE).

For myself, I figured anything chocolatey/mocha would be good and for the hubs, vanilla or white chocolate (which isn't easy to find). However, there's a depth of flavor missing which I found by using the tobacco flavored nic liquid that came with hubby's PCC. A nice heavy-duty espresso flavor works, too. We both smoke menthol, so I *assumed* I'd probably like that, too.

To my surprise what really (almost) hits the spot was a spicy blend called "Marcado." I say "almost" because the highest nic content it comes in is 18mg and I need a bit more than that to switch completely. Although for my DH I found a white chocolate mocha that I lust after, lol. I can't take too much PG and that little beauty has just the right blend. My spicy stuff only comes in VG (which also adds to the "almost").

So, I'm mixing away to my hearts content looking for the one that'll get me switched forever (and having a ton of fun although there's a bit of frustration involved, too).

I have found that if you mix a little of a mint mix (not much, just enough to give it that Newport cool) it's satisfying. I use Smokers Outlet 32mg VG menthol (only because it's easy and I kinda like it) and 16mg mint PG (got some at a local brick and mortar store), some USP VG and distilled water.

This is my mix, It results in a 24mg nic:

15ml Smokers Outlet Menthol 32mg
2ml Distilled water
3ml mint 16mg PG
6ml USP VG

This comes to 26ml total content,but when you use the Hack-o-matic it shows 30ml, so my predictions are this is around 26mg. This blend gives great TH as well as vapor and nic! If you are a D-1 user then this is a perfect thickness for a cartomizer. If you use a PG in D-1 cart you will vape through it VERY quickly, thicker juices work better for a carto.

Bel, I noticed that you are also in Detroit. There is a little place called Ecigma in Orion. It's inside the Orion Wine and Deli by Great Lakes Crossing. They carry e-liq, although he only carries PG. His prices are fair compared to web prices, this is where I got my mint juices from. And Huff and Puff Smoke shop on 9 and VanDyke are probably going to start carring LeCig products (thanks to my demo!). I get my VG from Nutri-Foods in Royal Oak on 11 and Main st.,I will keep you informed on the other places I run across seeing that you are in my area. But, the Girbralter vendors are vultures, BEWARE! Chuck at Ecigma is a staight up guy and he also carries some rebranded Joye products. WELCOME TO ESF! neighbor

I'm not far from GLC so I'll check that out and my mom's in RO so I'm there fairly regularly. Thanks! I keep dropping hints at our local Smokers Outlet but they just look at me like I've sprouted antennae or something, lol.

Ah ha, got it thanks to your handy dandy reference guides. I have a tornado tank which, according to the picture, is much like the Janty ego. No filter and it only leaks when a newbie like me plays too much with the little plastic caps on the cartridges They now sell just the caps which are rubber-like rather than hard plastic so they're play proof.

What I'd love to know is what other attys I could get for them as they run out of the black so fast I can't get an order in (really, I got an email this morning saying they were back in stock (again) so I clicked and *poof* all gone (again)). I broke down and got the "platinum" color - I guess nobody likes it so it's always in stock . It could be neon orange for all I care, as long as it works well.
