I guess I am out voted here on the nic level. You can increase the nic level in your bloodstream by vaping more of a lower dose as well.I look at it as trying to beat the addiction angle .In that case the least amount would be the best.I think of vaping as a gift to me ,it allowed me quit the smoking and beat my addiction to nicotine on my terms.Once the goverenment gets more involved we will lose that option. It is great to not be smoking but the reason you could not quit smoking before vaping was the nicotine addiction.

That is only partially true Mike. Nicotine in itself is addictive yes, but only mildly addictive in comparison with the other 4000+ chemicals.

After you have flushed your body of nicotine 8-10 days, you no longer crave the nic perse, but you so crave whatever is missing e.g Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors which have a shelf life in your body of 8-10 weeks. Those little puppies cause you to self medicate nicotine. You see BT has been f.....g with our bodies and neurological system for quite some time. I call these little time bombs that we will have for the rest of our lives.

A prime example of the complexity of this chemical cocktail is the effects of smoking a premium cigar. Although, you get a nicotine buzz from smoking on one for the better part of an hour, the nicotine triggers one of those little time bombs which cause you to light a stinky, within minutes of putting out your stogie. Why is that? Well because the brain/body wants what was not delivered by the cigar. The brain is/was programed that what it needed is found in a stinky.

After having that stinky, you are now once again satisfied and will carry out your normal smoking pattern. Why is that?

So although I agree with your way of thinking, the sooner you can get off analogs the better. Although, we as a community do not condemn those who fall off the wagon, it is better not to fall off in the first place. I had to fight several demons in my 100 day journey. I was successful by increasing the nic and vaping a heavily tobacco flavoured liquid. Now it only takes on or two hits to tame the demon. IMO every time we light up a stinky, we only prolong our own agony by re-introducing those nasty chemicals into our system. Just like an alcoholic who only needs one drink, we only need one ciggy. IMHO it is better to avoid that ciggy.

I have reduced my nicotine intake from where I started. I am mostly 18mg in the morning and during the evening from 24mg. I am vaping pretty much know the same as I smoked. In the beginning that PV was pretty much in my hands all the time (not a good thing) and yes I did over do it a couple of times, because the absorption rate is much slower IMO.

You may be right about the other chemicals. If the FDA gets their way those who do not have a stockpile will find out the hard way about the nic I suppose, and those who do have a stockpile will one day find out.I have some friends who are suppliers and while not wanting to start a panic ,I would be making some plans if I were you guys.

Mike,

I saw the writing on the wall the week before I started to vape. All I can say is, bring it on. I am presently studying how to make an atomiser, after that... bring it on.

Edit: BTW I believe Royal has read between the lines as well

We, Lil Queen and I smoked lights and ultra lights, but to get our fix with e-cigs we weren't satisfied until we went up to 24mg/ml. Like Wiz said, you can always cut it, but you can't increase it.
We Had a bunch of stuff that was too lite for the Mrs. I ended up finally using that low nic stuff up, when I went back to occasional nic use.

Hi Wiz! Welcome aboard.
Thank you sir...Nice to be here!

Thanks for all the help. I ordered a EGO starter kit. bought it for 82 and some change. Should be here in a few days. It contains..
2xBatts (650 mAh)
1 510 atty
1 atty cover
1 fast usb wall charger (420 mA)
1 usb wall charger
1 carring pouch
user manual

now my question is what else should I get? From doing a lot of reading. I think I need a few more attys. I think im going to order some 18 and 24 ml to find out which I like best. Again thanks for all the help.

Cool,
You can't go wrong with bigger batteries. I think Rick has an Ego. (no pun intended)
Maybe he can give you some pointers on it.

I would stock up on some extra atomizers.
I think they are making some LR (low resistance) 1.5 ohm 510 attys for the E-go. Not sure why such low resistance is needed, a typical Joye 510 is already low resistance (2.3 ohms) when compared to others.
I have heard, but cannot confirm that the E-go battery only puts out 3.1 volts when under load, which is about the same one can expect form a standard E-cig battery. Maybe this is why a LR atty is offered.

Chelseafn......I think you'll be really impressed with the EGO!!.....I would definatly stock up with a few more atomizers...believe me one is not enough. More e-liquid would be the next thing....once you find what strength works best for you I would recommend ordering a higher strength and cutting it down with PG(and/or)VG for some better savings!

Good Luck!

IMO you are off to vaping heaven with the eGo. It has a good battery life, anywhere from 6-8 hrs per charge depending on the vaper.

As Royal mentioned I would get more atomisers, at least 5 more.

WRT low resistance on the eGo I would shy away from that. Although the battery is rated well above what is recommended (440 mAh) for an LR atty, the eGo batt is a proprietary batt and hence quite costly to replace $30 in Canada. So although I have tried the LR on the eGo, I usually reserve that function to my box mod. Many have used and are using the eGo with the LR, they are also noticing a rather drastic drop in battery performance. Current overdrawing on a battery = shorter battery life.

Yes the eGo like all other JoyE batts puts out 3.1V. But is puts it out constant and vapes do not seem to trail off like some batteries.

That being said, the eGo may only put out 3.1V but it gives you better than a normal 3.7V experience via voltage pulse modulation. The cone is not purely aesthetical, it serves a specific function is that it warms incoming air to the atomiser.

The eGo PCB has been reversed engineerd and can be seen here. It is an extremely long read, but fun nonetheless.

The eGo is affectionally known as the 510 on steroids, you will be pleased.

Thanks again for all the info. Having a hard time deciding what juice to get. So many choices but I think I have narrowed down to these. From ecigsupply and vaportalk. Im thinking for starting out I should get something with a tabacco taste. Any other suggestions?? One mpore thing will the atomizers for the 510 work for the EGO? Thinking about going with 510 cartomizers. would I throw these away after a days use?

Vapors choice tobacco-RY4 and or Dulcis.
