Quitting Smoking. Just thinking about it, or have already put them down. Sometimes it helps to talk to others who are, or have gone through the same thing.

Default One week for me today!

I kinda cut down slowly over 2 months and didn't put myself under any pressure. I had three analogs left last Saturday and told myself that when they were gone I was going to try and be done with them... if I could??? They got smoked w/ my morning coffee. From then on I have been vaping away on my m401s. I made sure I had plenty of batts, attys, carts, and chargers. I have had a few minor nic fits but they passed.

I think getting the strongest, safe to use, 36 nic juice helped me make the jump. That left me w/ no excuse to say I need an analog till I try tha 36. I think just having it was more of a help than the actual juice. Hey, addicts think weird!^%#*

Anyway, thanks yall! You were the inspiration to let me know I might could do it. And... so far so good.

Just be careful it's easy to increase your nic addiction.

It doesn't seem to me that the nicotine in e-liquid is as addictive as tobacco, might be other additives in tobacco that are addictive as well.Once I got my mind wrapped around the fact I could still vape when and mostly where I wanted I didn't miss the analogs as much.I occasionaly think I would like to try one just to see if it is as good as I remember but the problem is ther are 20 in a pack so I talk myself out of that.

I feel the same way about it Mike. I can go from using 24mg/ml nicquid, to no nic, and not really miss it that much. Not like I did giving up analogs anway.
My wife, Lil Queen who as of yet has still not completely given up the stinkies, can vape some 36mg/ml and then afterwards says she is still craving a cigarette. So I think it is what she is not getting in her e-cig that has her still going back to analogs. Can't blame it on the hand to mouth or visible smoke, as she gets this from her e-cigs.
Still her best bet at quitting smoking is with the 36mg stuff.

Royal, W/O the excuse that my juice did not have tha max nic was a help in its self to me. I have some 24 and sometimes mix it w/ the 36. Sometimes I just use the 36. I think you are right about the "other stuff" in an analog though.

Everyone is different in thier needs, I would say that you should use only the amount of nicotine that you need and no more.
Until that is known, it is cheapest to just buy the highest nic level be it 24mg or 36, then cut it if you need to.

Good advice Royal! I am cutting 36 w/ 24 right now. Later I might get some 18 to mix w/ 24. Although, I am not sure the nic level you get, even from vaping 36, is that bad for you? But... what do I know???

Papajoe, you just have to do the math.
You can use straight PG or VG to cut it with, take 36mg/ml and mix it 50/50 with PG or VG and you will have 18mg/ml. The flavor will be diluted, but you can amp this back up with your own flavorings.

Exactly. I cut my 36mg with VG & PG. Twice the juice for a fraction of the cost.

I was in the same boat as Lil Queen. I still had the cravings but I toughed it out. The cravings lasted for about a week, and then went away. I still crave that throat hit though. The Menthol seems to be the ticket.

So what is the best way to buy the PG and VG. And what % of each do yall use? I know it m9ght depent on what flavor it's used with. And maybe even what kinda vape thing is being used. I am m401s for now.

At this point I'm just mixing already mixed juices. I did buy some Amaretto flavoring though. It just sounded good for 2 bucks. Now... what to put it in??? And how many drops per ml?
