Default E-pipe models?

I'm looking to get a e pipe for around the house, so i have somethign a little more comfortable and easy to vape on the comp, and to give my 510 batteries a chance to charge. i know of a few e pipes, i was just curious if anyone had a comprehensive list of them? or also links of where to buy at a decent price.. i'm looking at the $60-$80 range if possible.
thanks in advance

I would go with a stick vice a pipe, because of the versatility of the stick and the various combos you can do with it. The greatest thing about this device, you can benefit with using it as a passthru while being charged on your PC.

I just received mine today. At first I wasn't impressed with the vapor production of the stock JoyE 302 atty. That's ok because I have various adapters coming (510, 901, 801) as well as some 801 attys, that will render this unit compatible with my 510 setup.

I had forgotten that attys need to be seasoned. The more I vape on this thing, the better the VP. I will post my first impressions later.

The versatility of this unit is what made me go for it. It uses the same batteries as the pipes a 10440 @ 320mah. Down the road if you do get a pipe for the pipe feel, your batteries will interchangeable.

Shop around and there is some good deals on 'em. Mine was $71 shipped.

On a side note, this is almost the size of a thumb drive. I went with the silver because it looks like a medical vaporizer, don't you think One never knows when an Asthma attack can strike in public venues. I have just the cure along with menthol vapor.

hmmm.. you make some pretty good points there.. i had thought of getting a janty stick, however i never saw it to work in the place that i had in mind for a pipe.. i might be reconsidering though.. yeah a stick with a 510 atty would be pretty spectacular

I think I read that when the atty goes bad on a pipe it is finished .

Me to!

The reason I am kitting the way I am is because everything is interchangeable. It took me a while and a lot of research to find compatible parts etc... My eGo should be here Monday...

The hardware I have to date will allow me to vape the carts I have (2 different kind (Safe cig and ecig)) on both the stick and the ego. I vape my stick as a passthru tonight watching the Bier, plugged into a USB wall adapter. Nice vape and charge your battery at the same time.

The only thing I need now is some low resistance attys 1.2 - 1.5 Ohms. They are not available evrywhere yet, but I gather these attys (510) vape like 5V at 3.7.

I agree about the interchangeable aspect.I started with a Joye 302 and all my purchases are aimed at compatibility.I have two Kissbox passthroughs and I use the DSE 801 batteries as they seem to be the best.I have adapters to put 510's and 901's on my power gear.I just don't want to have several different kinds of batteries and chargers cluttering up my desk. However since I built the mods I have ended up with 10440 and 18650 batteries and a charger for those.

@Rick,
One thing to keep in mind about such low resistant attys.
At 1.2 to 1.5 ohms an atty will draw between 2.47 to 3.08 amps at 3.7 volts.
While a standard 510 atty, which is typically 2.3 to 2.5 ohms will draw between 1.48 to 1.61 amps at 3.7 volts, and 2 to 2.17 amps at 5 volts.

This is a significant increase in power, so be peprared for decreased battery use time and possibly reduced battery life. If you plan on using an alternate power source, make sure it can handle the increased amperage as well.

I have no experience with these lower resistance attys, but knowing what little I do know about nichrome, I would think they used a slightly larger diameter wire and also possibly a shorter coil winding to get the decreased resistance. However a larger diamater nichrome wire will withstand more heat than a smaller one, it would also be assumed that it will take slightly longer to reach peak heating temperatures, and also slightly longer to cool. At this point in time of battery technology, this IMO will be pushing them to thier limits.

Also something else to keep in mind, is how much current the switch is rated for. Too much current through an under rated switch can cause premature switch failure. I may try some of these in the near future, but if I do, I will be using large capacity batteres, such as the 18650 and with a switch rated for at least 3 amps. This low resistance atty, I would think will work good on such a mod, but I hesitate the thought of putting it on a stock standard e-cig battery.

Let us know how they work if you get some of them.

Gotcha Royal. I had presumed that much, but I did not know about the switch? Hum! might have to think about that. Unless you know what it is off the top of your head.

Once I get my different attys and adapters for my stick and give them a whirl, we might have to revisit the LR option. Who knows I might just stick with the stock 510, which do a good job. The stick's stock atty is breaking in nicely, but doesn't compare to a 510's performance. Now, that being said, it will be interesting to see how it does perform with a 510 atty.

The LR attys at present are only available as part of a kit from Nhaler, so that may be a moot point as well.

The 10440 batteries in the Joye sticks are only 3.6 volt, not 3.7. I know, .1 volt does not sound like much, But I get better performance out of my 510s from standard e-cig batteries, than I did with a 10440. I feel the 10440 is good to use with a joye 302 which is the penstyle atty your stick probably came with as the resistance is not as low (around 3.3 ohms) and does not require as much current to perform. Still out of the penstyles, 801, and 4072, the 302 out performs and has for me out lasted them all as well.
My last 4072, which I believe the BE112 by best e-cig is also a 4072, why they rename them I do not know- someone correct me if I am wrong. Only lasted me a couple of days, while I used to get a week or so out of an 801. I have 302s that are months old and still firing. And mine actually outperform the 510 vapor production wise when using them on my 5 volt mods. I still prefer the 510 for the taste, as it does not taste as wet, and the flavors do not come across as strong, which is to my liking.

First high resistance atty's to make a high voltage unit vape like a low voltage ,now low resistance atty's to make a low voltage unit vape like a high voltage?Am I missing something? And if people have trouble with regular atty's going bad wouldn't a hotter one burn out faster?Just wonderin.
