Default Filler material

Hello all,
Say I just have a quick question. Im trying to figure out what to use as a filler to hold the e-liquid in. I see some use fluval filter material. If this is what you use then may I ask what kind of Fluval material do you use? Also what do the others on the board use. Any opinions or preferences on materials used? Just looking for ideas as I search for the ultimate Vaping enjoyment!

mcquinn's choice is similar to the normal/original filler (a step up though).

chooky's choice is different, a more open celled foam that holds rather than absorbs the liquid.

With either one you'll have to figure out the right amount to use, just enough so the liquid doesn't leak out.

Grrrrrr....I read everywhere where the blue foam was the best...now I wonder if I should have tried the fluval? So much to learn..........I am getting confused! What do the majority of smokers use as a filler?

They cost so little it does not hurt to buy both and try it.I personally don't think you will notice any difference.A lot of this is personal preference, not much is based on science. You cannot keep trying to get the best based on random polling, only a general idea of which way to go.Base your purchases on what you can afford and work with what you got and quit second guessing.I use Joye 302,510 and DSE 901 attomizers and I get good vapor from all at 3.7 volts .The only reason I have three different atty's is there was a dry spell where you simply could not but a 302 atty for about three months last year.

Well some feel the blue foam is not the safest material (polyurethane?). It does taste quite foul if you run it dry.
