Default Question - BE112 Atomizers.

Howdy gang.
I'm a bit puzzled on this one.
My brother in law has a Janty Kissbox that he uses with the passthrough attachment. Both his auto and manual switches went south. Since he's always liked my homemade passthrough, I decided to build him one. No problems with the passthrough, but I noticed something with the atty and cart.

The carts fit nicely, but the filler is nowhere close to the bridge of the atty. In fact, the filler is almost 1/2 inch away from the bridge.

My 4081 & 510 attys have filler that touches the bridge for fluid transfer, and they wick excellent.

How the heck is this thing wicking fluid to the bridge?

801 and 4072 carts and attys are a little different in the length of the chamber.
I am not completley sure which device the BE112 is modeled after, but I believe it to be a 4072.
If memory serves the 4072 carts are a little longer than the 801s. I learned this by trial and error, I tried to use a 4072 cart on an 801 atty and it mushed down to deep on the bridge. I then measured the two different carts and saw the difference. You may want to try a 4072 cart on it and see if that does the job.

This is really weird Royal,

He's been using that thing for months now, and getting good vapor out of it. I never noticed this until I made the passthrough for him, and used his atty to fit the connector.

The cart fits about 1/4" into the atty body, and the bridge is waaayyyyyy down there, and I don't see any visable air passage way. But the thing wicks the juice.

For this model, the air passage is under the trim ring at the battery end of the atty. As a result these do tend to clog over time, I have in the past removed this ring for better inflow of air. But it takes aways from its cosmetics. I like the Joye 302 penstyle attys better, they have good air flow chambers, two of them drilled down the side between the positive and negative connectors of the atty. And they use the slightly shorter 801 carts.
If he is using this on a manual passthrough, perhaps he should just try dripping with it. I don't use filler material any more, and just use the mouth piece and drip, even on my 510s. This way it doesn't matter which model of a cart you use.

He knows about dripping. I don't know if he is dripping or not. The thing works just fine, but it's a mystery to me just how it's working.

OK, Back the truck up.

He gave me 1/2 a cart. The extended section wasn't there. He didn't give it to me because I was only fitting the threads for the passthrough. Now that I see the right carts, they make sense. When he puts on the extension, the fiber touches the bridge.

Case Solved.

If the Kissbox is less than six months old they will replace the switches.Vapor Station is a little cheaper on Kissbox parts but they ship from UK $8.00 .I like mine so well I bought a second one .I only use the LB atty's from Awesome Vapor or ElectroNicStix.

Thanks for the tip, but it's older than that. Besides, I already cut it apart to use the connector for the passthrough. He's in the living room right now vaping up a storm.

Half a cart? Man, that is stingy don't you think.
I take it you only had the mouth piece. The cart part does come off on these penstyles.
Way to go Sherlock.
