I have to fast tonight for a cholesterol test and I am not sure if vaping would affect the tests.I am not going to vape to be on the safe side don't want to have to fast and do it again.12 hours with no vaping .The Horrors ,the horrors.

I don't think vaping would be considered a cheat, But I am not a doctor, nor do I play one on TV.
Just don't drink your e-juice.

I just don't know if the sugars that the VG and PG turn into would show as something and make the tests look askew.

If it were me, I'd vape as usual. If it had an effect on the results, I would want to know because I don't plan to quit, and if medication were necessary, it would already be geared for the vaping factor.

I have had a heart attack and have high cholesterol so this is to make sure my medications are protecting me from future problems.It really sucks to have a heart attack they are definitly not as glamorouse as people think they are.

Sorry to hear that. I'm on cholesterol & High BP pills now, but personally, I would want to see the results while I was vaping. Might want to mention it to the doc, and fill him in on the whole story.

My Cardiologist and GP think my getting off the analogs is great by whatever means.They would not make specific comments on the vaping ,I suppose they don't want to sound like they were endorsing it.

The Doc's are going to sit on the fence right now, until some kind of solid research comes out. They have a lot to loose if they make any comments in either direction right now.
