And I'm wondering if there are carts from other companies that would fit it? I'm not really impressed with the flavor quality of their carts, and hoping that i can either buy fluid from another company and refill these, or just buy carts.

I just got an Elektro as well. Have you been able to find the model # on this one and compatible catrs? Ive been looking for a while and no luck!

I would try buying a box of refillable 808 carto's to see if they fit .You won't be out much and if they don't fit you might want to consider just getting an 808 kit and switching over.You can also get some liquid and refill the carto's you have I usually can run 15 to 20 ml's through a carto if I don't vape it too dry and burn it.If the 808's do fit you also have the option to get DSE 901 atomisers and try dripping and cartridges ,as the 901's will fit 808 batteries.

It looks like a over priced KR808D-1. Try purchasing a blank cart from Vaporkings.com, I think they are like $1.85 each. If it is a KR808D-1 these are the best blank carts I have found. Also, if it turns out to be one feel free to ask away! I use one and I love it! Mine are from other manufactures but still the same model. I fill blank cartos and wash, dry and reuse. My first of 5 or 6 different models was a KR808 and I did'nt even know it until last week when looked to see if the cartos would fit. And what do ya know? They fit! So, dead battery turned into passthrough, 5 washable cartos, carry case and another USB/wall charger! Good thing I only paid $20 for it, cause it was poor quality. But, none the less at least I feel like I got my $20 out of it in the rest of the stuff that still works. I have only been vaping going on two months but I have learned so much on this site about this model. HOURS of reading and then a few more. I have been vaping the same 4 cartos and refilling for about 6 weeks. I have'nt gotten a burnt taste yet, guess its because I never really let them get to dry. And I am a heavy vape!

It is definately an 808D-1. Elektro was my first E-cig. I went on to try 401 and 510. 808 is the best for battery life. I bought some cartomizers just to make sure - 808D-1 without a doubt.

The cartomisers and atomisers are the different personalities and it looks like you have tried most of them.Now the battery life issue comes up.You can get a mod or and Ego type for longer battery life and longer usefull voltage.There are adapters to allow you to use those carto's and atties as well as others.The 808 battery will fit DSE 901 atties and the 510 will fit Joye 306 attie and cartos.Lots of fun building the perfect rig.And then comes the search for the holy grail.The perfect liquids for you.Have fun and enjoy.

I bought 13 adapters in an effort to understand all the different formats. This is how I finally realized I had 501, 808D-1, and 401s. The 401 still has the best feel to me - but liquid capacity and battery life are not the best. I like the 501 and 808 liquid capacity. The 808 has the 2nd best TH and best battery life and I think thats what I'm sticking with, at least for a while. I already got a pack of 5 liquids and now I'm hooked. I got over a dozen more coming my way soon. I'm down to 2 or less analogs a day, except for those times when I go out and forget to take something with me. My body is acting like I quit - no more hacking, more energy, and able to say more words before taking a breath. I'm hooked.
