Arrow 510 atty's question......

I am getting more into the DIY liquids and starting to mix alot of different flavors. Should I buy a whole bunch of new atty's to test new flavors or is there a way to get the flavor off the ones I have.

I clean mine regularly, I use denture tabs and rinse them several times with hot water from my coffee maker, some people use Everclear soaks ,some boil them in water. So the answer would be yes you can clean them.It never hurts to have plenty of spares .

Kellie, then you need figure out how to mark them so you know what flavor goes where. Nail polish works. Just a tiny dot or two... or three or. And welcome to the forum!

I have done plenty of DIY experimenting and I always used just one new atomizer for testing my recipes. I just drip a drop or two of the mix I am trying directly into a new atomizer with no cart filler in my cart, and vape it till it is almost gone, then I take the atomizer off and blow it out by mouth, reinstall it and drip with a different flavor. After just a few hits the new different flavor starts coming through.
The only flavoring I ever had trouble removing was menthol crystals, the menthol seems to stay longer, probably because it is such a strong flavor to begin with. But eventually even the menthol crystal flavor will dissipate.

I know a lot of people use different atomizers for thier different flavors. The benefits here would be to get an instant change in taste. I myself have never found the need, and just switch the flavors in the same atomizer when I feel the need to change.
I use Joye 510s and for me the change in flavor comes through fairly quick.
Other larger type atomizers such as penstyles will probably take a bit longer.

Some more tips. Sometimes more flavoring will ruin a mix. Start low. Also the best mixes are just that... mixes. Not just a solo flavor. It's also best to let them sit before vaping. A bad tasting mix may be fine the next day.

Good tip from Billy to let them age and to add flavors slow. Someone said to leave the lid off for awhile would help things age faster. Not sure as I have not tried it yet.

Oh, I now like stickers to mark the carts. I just just cut small pieces and put one on the juice and one on the cart. Easier to make changes than w/ the nail polish.

Prolonged exposure to air will degrade the nicotine.
It has always been advised to keep your e-liquid sealed and away from heat or direct sunlight.
