Good 14500 mod???

I started to say "best" but I think, kinda like canned chili, best is in the eye of the beholder. OK, I know there is no "best" canned chili... unless you grew up eating Wolf Brand. Anyway... I am happy w/ my m401s but have my eye on those large size low resistance 510 cartos w/ some kinda 14500 mod.

You guys have convinced me that the non prop batts are the way to go. I could make the jump to 5/6 v but just think about making smaller steps. Some say they like the 3.7 better than the higher V's.

So, what would be yall's rec be for a good 14500 mod?

Oh, and I hear that the AW High Performance might be the best 14500 batts???

Trueman Ecig has the DSE905 complete kit for $55.00.
Heaven Gifts is selling the EGO for under 75 bucks.

There are a lot of them out there.

Personally, I can't see spending mega-bucks on a mod when there are so many cheap ones out there that do basically the same thing.

Has anyone tried the 510 LR cartomizers? I think they are kinda new but I hear they work good, hold lotsa juice, and are reasonably priced. I was thinking about trying these w/ the 14500 mod.

When I got my 905, I ordered adapters so I could used different attys with it.

Ok, I pulled tha trigger on a DSE905 kit. I ordered it from Ecigsupply... less tha 50 bucks and they have good prices on some other stuff I needed for my m401s. I ordered an extra 901 atty, as that is what they sell w/ tha 905, and some extra blank carts.

Jim, I figure I will try like it comes and then maybe try some other kinds of attys and maybe cartos. What is your atty and cart of choice?

I have read about probs some folks have had w/ the 905. We'll see how mine does.

I haven't had any problemns with mine.

I've used 901, 510, and 4081 attys with it. I still prefer the 4081's. I'm an old die hard type of guy.

I ordered an adapter and some kr808d cartomizers to see how those work.

The 14500 batts do not say they are protected at the web site. Is that OK? Any safety tips let me know.

It's here and charged up. I really like the looks and feel of it. There was a paper inside that said it was made in May 2010. I like that it says this. I know it is one of the newer models.

Tons of vapor but my m401s still have a better flavor. Maybe the atty needs to age a bit?

My 808 cartomizers and adapter should be here today. Now I am a bit confused what kind of ecig these are made for.

The batts do not say they are protected. Should this concern me?

I think the atty is breaking in? It seams to have more flavor. My cartos did not arrive today. :~(

Looks like I might need to try the 4081 attys.

And I hear the LR 901 attys might be good with the 905. Runs the batt down faster though.

I DO like the look and feel of this thing! I can't decide about using my thumb or finger to push the button.
