What is your opinion about liquids?

I have tried a few different suppliers and bought small quantities to see what I like. Flavors are subjective and everybody has their favorites but I am wondering about quality. Buying bulk quantities of parts and juices makes sense now that I have settled in to being a vaper. What are some of your opinions about juice suppliers? There can't be that many manufacturers of the actual juice? I would assume that most resell and add/change flavors and packaging.

So far I have used Totally Wicked, Electronic Cigarettes of Houston, Sinless Smoke and BestECig. TW and Sinsless's juices just didn't seem right to me. By adding some VG to the mix it did take away the harshness of the vapor but by itself it just wasn't that good. The nic content wasn't the issue, I am referring to harshness not throat hit.

ECoH and BestECig are really good for me, I think one comes from the other in fact. But they are direct from China and that is a concern for some people. Frankly, most stuff comes from China so I am not that worried about it. Other than cheap packaging the quality seem fine.

Any opinions about choosing a suppliers when buying in excess of 100mls?

I bought my last 500ml batch from Best e-cig. I buy 36mg unflavored, and cut & flavor myself to 18mg menthol (Twice the juice for the money). Flavors are not my thing. I usually stick to one flavor, and the menthol really works for me. No complaints from Best e-cig.

Back in "The Olden Days" I tried a few different flavors. I ended up going to a cake supply store and getting Loranns Flavorings to spike the flavors. They were OK as is, but I like em strong.

Thanks Jim. I have been going to Amazing Cakes on Bissonnet for Lorann's and CVS for VG but it can be hard to find.

I have been doing the same for mixing, start with 36mg RY4, cut 50/50 then add Lorann's caramel to get the strong flavor back. Unflavored 36 or 18mg cut again and blackberry or black walnut has been another favorite.

What do you use for menthol? I bought Lorann's Spearmint Oil, but only used it once because it was oil-based. I was never a menthol smoker but do like the cooling vapor on occasion.

Lorann's was recommended by a few people so it is what I looked for first. It is the only type I have tried so far and caramel is very good in my opinion. It has a nice sweet caramel flavor. Reminds me of those square caramel candies.

Some say not to use any flavoring that has sugars added. That being said, I have been using Lorann's caramel for a while now, and have had no problems with it. In fact I have been finding that my attys are holding up longer with my DIY mixes than they do with store bought nicquid. Go figure.

My favorite DIY is a mix of flavors, Lorann Caramel and Bovarian Creme at 50/50 each.

Im buying mine from cignot and Im vaping regural 30mg by Basic, I seem to like that the most, but being new i have only been buying the small bottles and I have been trying different Flavors also, I seem to like VG or VG/PG mix.

This is so much fun , Maybe one day i will mix my own when i got the hang of everything and feel confident in not killing myself from mixing wrong....LOL

Pick up a couple medicine syringes, (Walgreens has them.) so your measurements can be accurate. You'll be surprised how easy mixing is. Start with small amounts first, so you don't waste any if you make a boo boo.
