Default 4081

Is there a thread that just has info about the model specific 4081? If not can we get a thread going?

I know that you can blow out the atomizer to clean ....is there any info on how to deep clean? I saw where one person soaked an atomizer in Coke Cola....can you do that with a 4081 atty?

Well, you just created a thread about the 4081, and got it started.

Cleaning methods for the 4081 would be the same as it would be for any other model.
There are many methods that people suggest. From denture tabs, to soaking in whole grain or even isopropyl alcohol, to using ultra sonic cleaners and steam cleaners, boiling atomizers, super heating methods, soaking in Coca-Cola etc, etc. You name it people have tried it. Most of the time, or at least they used to, include cleaning suggestions on the little manual that comes with an e-cigarette. But I haven't bothered to read one of those in ages and couldn't even tell you what they suggested.
I don't know if they still program this method or not, but at one time with automatic batteries, they would go in to an automatic cleaning mode after every so many activations. This would turn on the battery for so many seconds to cause it to heat the atomizer to a point where it would burn off the encrusted gunk. This method is a lot like a self cleaning oven.

Here is the link to the forum for cleaning and maintenance.

And the ESF trouble shooting guide, located in the The Reference Library - e-Smokers-forum.com · e-Cigarette and e-Smoking discussions has information about cleaning and maintenance as well.

No you are not, the 4081 is a popular model. This is Jim's favorite.
It was also the first one me and Lil Queen ever owned. We still have ours, we just went to other models for the larger carts. But I believe you can now get double sized carts for the 4081.

chooky;
The 4081 is far from being rare. Njoy Npro, SE Gold, and a few others are simply 4081's with a name branded on them. Most of the scammers sell the 4081 as their brand, and because people get ripped off on the price, they say it's junk. There's nothing wrong with the 4081 itself. The atomizers are among some of the toughest on the market today. It just gets a bad rap because of overpricing.

I have a few 4081 attys still laying around. I wouldn't mind giving them another go. But I want/need an adaptor for one to fit on a mod. I suppose I could cannibalize one of the batteries, but I hate to break something that still works.

Royal;

Trueman e-cig has 901 to 4081 adapters. Problem is that a $2.00 adapter wouldn't be worth the shipping costs. I'll keep an eye out for them from the suppliers.

I have a new love for my 4081 since my new 103 manual batteries arrived. I found that the auto batteries were very inconsistent. Overall a very good model IMO.

Hey Mike!!!
Glad to see you found your way over here. Welcome!!!!!!

Being able to use the 103's is a big plus. I have some old 103 Auto batteries from months ago, and they're still holding a charge. I keep a couple in my Computer Case for emergencies.

I just took a standard 4081 battery off the charger and am using a one plus year old 4081 atty on it. I have to say, I am impressed. I am trying to work out the old flavor that has been in there forever, but it vapes very well. I am dripping with it right now, I do have about 50 blank 4081 carts though.

I wonder how these compare to the Joye 306 Super Mini, atty wise.
