Well, you just created a thread about the 4081, and got it started.
Cleaning methods for the 4081 would be the same as it would be for any other model.
There are many methods that people suggest. From denture tabs, to soaking in whole grain or even isopropyl alcohol, to using ultra sonic cleaners and steam cleaners, boiling atomizers, super heating methods, soaking in Coca-Cola etc, etc. You name it people have tried it. Most of the time, or at least they used to, include cleaning suggestions on the little manual that comes with an e-cigarette. But I haven't bothered to read one of those in ages and couldn't even tell you what they suggested.
I don't know if they still program this method or not, but at one time with automatic batteries, they would go in to an automatic cleaning mode after every so many activations. This would turn on the battery for so many seconds to cause it to heat the atomizer to a point where it would burn off the encrusted gunk. This method is a lot like a self cleaning oven.
