I like the way you think! Too bad I am required to wear eye protection (I'd wear it even if it weren't required...you know how painful a bumble bee in the eye is at 70 MPH?)

Never go one in the eye, but had one hit me in the neck, and went down my shirt. That fat SOB got me five times before I could squash him.

Forgot about the eye protection. Just jam it into your neck, then growl at the people watching.

O.k. guys, here goes. I bought a mod that uses a 16340 battery. I have purchased 8 at this point and only got 2 charges out of 5 of them. One bat still charges, 5x's at this point. 2 I have yet to use. What's up with it is supposed to be better with the mod batteries. I love having an all day vape but, not at 2.50 a day! Batteries purchased at 2 different places. Just bad luck or what?

16340 batteries are replacements for cr123s. These 16340 batteries are 3.6 volt. If you are only using one of them, this is .1 volt less than the standard e-cig battery, doesn't sound like much, but it can make a difference.
Make sure you are using a charger designed for the 3.6 volt 16340s and not one for a 3.0 volt RCR123A. A lot of mods use 2-3.0 volt batteries in series for a total of 6 volts, or with a resistor to reduce it to 5 volts. In your case, if you run two 16340s in series, 7.2 volts may prove to be too much.

Those are the first I had and bought them with the charger. So I then ordered thetrustfire and I am having the same experience. One battery at a time in use. Do you think I should try the CR123a and see what happens?

I use two RCR123A 3.0 volt batteries in series, reduced to 5 volts with resistor. I have never had any problems with these specific batteries. The ones I user are LifePO4s and require a special charger meant for this type.
I cannot say that trying a different type will give you a different experience. But you do not want to step down to 3.0 volts, this would be too low. Are you sure it is not your mod that is causing the problem?

There are a lot of places in a mod things can go wrong,check and clean where the spring sits,check and clean the connections that touch the batteries,check and clean the connection for the atty and any adapters you may be using check the switch.Finally check the batteries with a volt meter to be sure you are actually charging them .The charger may be defective or the wrong one.

Welcome Bobbie;

If you've been looking around, you may have already read that your Smoking Everywhere Gold is a Model RN4081. The RN4081 is probably the most misunderstood e-cig on the market today. It's classified as a "Super mini". If used right, it's capable of great throat hit, and flavor. Njoy also sells the 4081, and brands it as an "NPRO".

Smoking Everywhere, sadly enough, is highly overpriced, but the product they sell is a pretty good e-cig. You can say goodbye to SE now, and get parts and supplies for your e-cig inexpensively. You can get Atomizers for $5.50ea, Batteries for about $9.00, and passthroughs are cheap too. Spare atomizers are a must. They're sort of like lightbulbs. They may last for months, but you never know when they'll burn out. Spare batteries are helpful too.

And the juice. Don't forget to get juice. Cartridges are not economical. You can get juice inexpensively, and refill your cartridges. We'll even show you how to mix your own juice to save even more money. Refilling instructions, complete with pictures are in the downloadable Troubleshooting & Informational guide. The link to the guide is in my sig. Click on it, then click "Save", and you can save it directly to your computer for future reference.

I bought the RN4081 as my first e-cig too, and paid through the nose for it. Then I found the Forum, did some research, and after almost a year, I'm still using it (and cheaply too). I have other models, and a couple of mods, but the 4081 is still my favorite, and I use it daily. I'm also using a Model 510 for work.

The day will come when you say to yourself, hey self, I think I want to try another model. If you ever decide to try something else, you can put away the 4081, and save it for a back-up. Back-ups are great if something goes wrong with your regular e-cig. Sort of like the spare tire in your car. You won't get stranded.

Any problems, or questions? Just ask. We're all here to help. And when you get a few spare minutes, update your profile with your location. (City & State is enough) You may have neighbors close by that can help you out in a pinch, if you need it.

I'm heading off to work in a few minutes. Be back tonight.

Cheers;
jd
