i have been out of the loop on the new trends of vaping for a while but have read most of the prof's reviews thanks for those BTW...

so i will ask the forum if i was to jump back into vaping again assuming i no longer have my old stash any suggestions.

i have read a little bit on my old fave 510's the Ceramic atty look interesting. i even saw some prefilled sealed attys which claim to have the best taste.

info to base suggestions off of.
1. i like an all day vape flavor
2. i like throat hit
3. i like cloud of vape
4. i hate constant top offs
5. price is key
6. freebies are nice ( who does not like them)
7. low cost for resupplying

yes i know that vaping may disappear assume that it stays around and current supply's can be found.

Thanks for reading my reviews!

My advice would be to try any device ( hey they're just battery holders ) with a low resistance 901 (1.7ohm) atty. For me they the best of flavour, hit and vapour of any atty - and they wick far better than 510s - so much so that they can even be used successfully with carts.

I am slow to take up new technology so i am still using Boge 510 cartomisers and dripping with 306 ,510 and 901 atties, which other than the 901's habit of leaking if you don't blow them out occasionaly I cannot tell much difference between.I have setteles on 14500 box mods as my main sled and use IMR 14500's and LC 14500 batteries. The IMR's seem to hit a little hotter than the lithium ion batteries but not sa hot as 5 volts. As for liquid after trying all the popular domestic brands I have setteled on Dekang liquids from VaporTalk ,Electronicstix(who is discontinuing it) ,Madvapes and LiteCigUSA.I like the USA Red ,CML and RY4.The Wensten from LitecigUSA is good for adding a smoky taste to the other liquids but too smoky for vaping alone. It actually makes the house smell like stale smoke but tastes pretty good.

Ok, so my input would be, find out if you like "dripping"? I went a differant way than the rest. I am vaping a KR808D-1 mod and I cant imagine anything getting better than what I have! The nice thing about a cartomizer is you can fill them, put the caps on them and put them in your pocket full! I am using a PIGCIG from LeCig (650 mah) with VaporKings carts and it's blowing my mind! I am going to be ordering their new batt mod in the next couple of days. A 900 mah AND I CANT WAIT! My 650 lasts 2 days without a charge and now they are offering a 900mha for $3 more! I'll pass on the dripping all the time, and stick with my cartomizers. You could'nt get a better company than LeCig hands down! I'm vaping one now and it's fantastic! I've found that the carts are good as far as washing and reusing. I have about 20 carts that I have washed more than three times and they are still as good as the first time. Atty's burn out, but with the carto you know when their dead. They dont seem to really go out, they taste kinda burnt. Thats the filler around the atty that gets scorched. The D-1 atty is VERY strong as long as you wash it before it gets really gummed up. If it gets gummed up wash it. If it tastes burnt toss it. I have cartos that I have been vaping for 3 months without a burnt taste! Just fill before they get dry!

Not realy to much has changed since you quit Mage ,Variable voltage was a fad but you usually just pick a voltage and stick with it,you could do that before ,tanks don't make much sense to me it seems as you vape you are changing the flavor of the rest of the liquid in the tank .The Ego is a nice large battery but when the switch fails you throw away a lot more money than if you just built a box mod.Ceramic carto's,who wants to fool with a needle to inject liquid into them ?Given the task at hand heating liquid up to the point of changing state there is not really much else you can do and still remain cost effective.

I forgot to add that I strongly recommend using the Empire Drip Shield with most atties - it makes 901s leak free for example

Try a couple of the larger capacity Smok cartos.

The Boge cartos are fine, but they are living in the past at a measly 35mm

This Smok 1.7Ω single coil works quite well and holds more liquid as it's ~45mm long.

Smok Tech 1.7 ohm 510 Cartomizers

These are also wider. Close to 3ml on the first fill.

Dual Coil Clear Mega XL Cartomizer

And the ultimate (eGo thread), almost 4ml.

eGo Mega Dual Coil Cartomizer Flat-Tip

Clear eGo Mega Dual Coil Flat Tip Cartomizer

The soft, large whistle tips are my fav mouthpiece.

The clears are interesting as you can easily tell if they need more liquid.

I do find a single 14500 to be a poor choice for these LR cartos though, as you need more oomph. They quickly drop into the 3.2 loaded volts range. But a simple 3AA box mod with two paralleled 14500s works quite well and provides higher voltages for longer.

I looked at the larger carto's but it seemed to me that when you throw one away you are throwing a lot more liquid away. You can only vape the filler so dry and then it starts melting.I thought the 306 carto's would be better for not wasting liquid but at the time I tried them there were no drip tips avaiable for them and the metal got real hot real fast. They vaped good though.I carry two 14500 batteries and 10 or 15 ml's of liquid everywhere I go so capacity is not an issue.I paralleled two 10440's once and was an improvement but the 14500's seem to do fine by themselves. That would be a bit larger mod than I care to tote,my 18650 did not get much use.I think the low resistance more than makes up for the lower voltage.I like the 1.8 ohm Boge carto's.
