...Mixin' up the medicine...

So, I received some new liquids that I thought I would like:
AV tobacco, turkish blend, patriot and a menthol.

Well, my only experience prior to that is TW red label Marlboro and TW black label Virgina Gold. I really like these both.

Now my experience with the liquids I ordered was interesting. For me, they were *strong*. I'm talking non-filtered Winston floor scrap strong(if there is such a thing). For me, too strong.

1st-I'm using carts
2nd-510 3.7V 280mah
3rd-Varying levels of nic shouldn't matter for the following(should it?)
4th-All liquids PG
5th-I use 3-5 "mini drops" and 3 or 4 dropper drops of the TW PG stuff & insert the fiber and it is generally full.

So, I get the brilliant idea to start experimenting with mixing them(not with the menthol), but am having the following "problem":

I start out fine with a lite sweet taste of my TW with a somewhat mellow tobacco taste, then 2/3-3/4 into the cart, the taste changes over to the solid strong taste of the AV liquid I mixed in.

What am I doing wrong??

Wish my AV juice had some flavor,only three out of eight had any flavor ,the rest was like vaping straight VG.Hard to say what went wrong with your experiment.When I tried mixing my own from scratch it would taste good at first then become very harsh as the flavors meshed.I would guess the flavor base was not compatible and you made some sort of nerve gas.You just have to keep trying different combinations until you find one that works.Make sure you clean the filler for each combo or what was in there could affect the new mix.I have found when I vape VG lliquids when the atty gets realy hot it all tatses harsh until i let things cool down.

Have you had any TW? I'm finding it really tasty and on the light side, but I have nothing else to gauge it against?

Sounds like we might have similar tastes. Do you have any recommends?

Any opinions on DeKang & Heaven's gifts stuff?

So far my favorites are Dekang liquids from Electonistix and VaporTalk and Joye liquid from Janty which I suspect is made by Dekang.The Blend 4 from Alien Visions was very good ,Awesome Vapor has some thats good .Most of TW exceeds my cost per ml requirment.I have looked at Heavens Gift but I would rather someone else take the risk with FDA and Customs.

I'm looking at the Janty site right now. I don't see "Joye liquids", however.

I see the do have RY4. It seems like lots of people like this one. Tried it?

Blend 4. Is it smooth? any sweetness?

Also, in regards to these suppliers, what were the names of the flavors you liked. That would be pretty helpful as well.

TW is expensive, but the two liquids I have (Red Label Mbro and Black label Virginia Gold) are *really* nice.

I'm analog free since Jan. 12 and honestly all I remember about Mbro ultra light 100's is the following from a test cig I had while fully envaped:

It tasted like dirt. Literally.

The Janty liquids when you buy them on the cap where YNDK is embossed on Dekang liquids the Janty liquids say Joye.My favorite from there is Golden Sahara it is thier Camel flavor,RY4 is a caramely tasting tobaco .Alien Visions Blend 4 is a strong tobacco taste it is on the sweet side .I have in my mind a taste from when I first started smoking that was very good ,haven't tasted that in years.From Electronicstix I like the CML,USA Red and the Gold and Silver.Those are thier Camel Marlboro and Benson and Hedges.They had to change the names to not get sued.Vapor Talk and Janty are a little more expensive than I like but I treat myself occasionaly.VaporTalk Dulcis is an RY4 type ,Sweet Dawn tastes like Green Apple Jolly Ranchers and thier Tobacco is good.

The best and also the cheapest I've had comes from Vaporenu. $6.99 for 30 ml custom mixed for you and very tasty!

You guys are really awesome. You may or may not realize it, but I treat this like a support group in a way.

Yesterday, I nearly gave in. Instead, I vaped myself into stupor with an 18mg. It worked. No dirty stick relapse.

I revisited my AV patriot, turkish blend and tobacco flavor last night and they were much better than my first try. I still refuse to try the menthol yet. I'll have to dedicate one of my three atty for that. I'm not ready to retry that yet.

Many thanks for the recommends. I revisit threads here(particularly, the ones I post Too bad there aren't more active members. Though you guys definitely make up in substance. Not much litter here.

My Tank hopefully arrives tomorrow and I've already had 1 convert and "witnessed" to a few others.

Vaporrenu's fruit flavors are excellent, watch out for their Big Red gum-strong cinnamon tastes just like the gum. I hear their tobacco flavors are excellent but I don't do tobacco so I'm not sure. I've got lots of other e liquids I bought before I obtained theirs and now they all taste yucky to me. I'll probably end up dumping it all.

I wish Vaporrenu had smaller bottles to try,I ended up mixing my AV juice with some too strong Boss Virginia Flue Cured liquid ,came out kind of nice.30 ml is an awful lot if it is not my cup of tea.
