Newbie - how much juice do I need?

I must say.. pretty disappointed with the mega atties for the eGo. I'm not sure if my pair is just bad or what.. but they get warm, the carts are full, and they both produce about 1/10th of the vapor compared to the regular atties/carts.

Just to update, the mega atty actually became a beast out of nowhere after trying and trying for about two-three hours with it. It seems to drain the battery a little faster and I'm definitely more addicted to nicotine than I've ever been haha. It looks like there are two styles too, one mega atty is a little smaller (type A I think?), I got the bigger one.

I got a couple to try and so far I like them alot, the mouthpiece is also great. As is usual when using cart filler some experimenting is needed so as not to flood or starve. When flooded there is hardly any vapor. If the vapor is low and the cart seems full blow out the atty from the cart side.

They seem superior to any carto I've tried and will hold just as much liquid. Cartos always taste odd to me and after about 4 refills the draw always stiffens and the taste changes. I'm not into boiling/cleaning cartos.

They are 2.2Ω, as are my Joye 306's. Note due to the skirt they will not fit on mods, I had to make an extension as stacking adapters didn't work right. But they fit, and work fine, on standard Joye batts.

If I get a solid 6 weeks out of them I'll be buying more. And as is the case with Joye atties after about 3 days they actually improve, I have not found this to the case with cartos.

FWIW some have said the connector needs to be kept clean.

And the cart that comes with them is fully functional, it just needs filler added.

Syd, I'm glad to hear that the mega attys for the ego are working well as I'm just about to order a couple myself. It's funny that you mention you are "more addicted to nicotine than ever," because I wonder about that myself. I've recently read a study that tested blood levels in e-cig users while they were vaping (at various levels of nicotine in e-juice up to 36mg,) and they found little or no nicotine in the systems of the participants. Like you I find myself vaping more than I smoked actual cigarettes (I know that's partly bc I can vape just about anywhere,) but I wonder if what's really happening is my body is breaking it's nicotine addiction (kicking and screaming) while the comforting routine of smoking that e-cigs provide - the hand to mouth tactile thing, the nice familiar old "throat hit" is easing me through it. I don't know. I defer to the experts and old hands on this forum for their opinions.

I kind of used a different logic than most people on the forums .I vape constantly so while I was still dependant on nicotine I went with low nic, figuring overall I would get enough.Seemed to work for me.I get no nic or low depending on where I order from.It is hard to find the Dekang flavors I like in no nic.It is kind of weird as most suppliers seem to be interested in helping us beat our addiction but do not carry no nic.I realise in business you have to carry what sells ,and the mentality of most vapers is to get as much nic as possible.I tried DIY and just ended up wasting a lot of money,as it all tasted like crap after a few puffs.

I use the higher nic levels, but it's because the lower levels that I've tried don't have the big throat hit and feel like I'm just pulling on air. I've only been vaping for a couple of weeks now but it's amazing to me. I quit analogs the first day I started, the only cigarettes I've had since were the last three in my final pack. I feel no sentimental attachment nor urge to run out and get a pack of analogs. I feel my breathing getting better day by day. Today I was running around a soccer field with my four year old for a couple of hours and actually felt like I did 20 years ago (except for the thirty pounds I've put on since then!) God I hope they don't shut these things down.
