For us newbes, who don't have so much stuff as you old timers, the PCC is also a carrying case that looks kinda like a pack of analogs. It holds 1 assembled ecig, several batts and some carts. I think they only make this style for the mini ecigs though.

But yes, it's a batt that will charge a smaller batt. At home I guess you could just plug the whole thing into the wall and go to sleep. But... it's supposed to be smart and not overcharge the smaller batt. They are about 20 bucks depending on where you order them. I haven't ordered one yet but???

I suppose you just need to evaluate how you will vape.If you vape mostly at large and need several batteries a PCC might be the ticket or just several batteries and something to carry them in.Totaly Wicked has a 510 battery charger that I believe charges five 510 batteries at the same time E-NI-510 TITAN.5 Battery Mega Charger ,if you vape mostly at a computer ,in a vehicle or near an outlet a passthrough and appropriate AC or DC adapter will be handy.

Thanks MCQ! 5 510 batts at a time, neat. I suppose it's a smart charger also. Another reason for me to try the 510s at some point.

My main reason for thinking about getting the PCC thing is so I don't have to worry about pluging in a batt and going to sleep. It's not just the hazard issue but I have also read that overcharging batts will make them not last as long.

Read enough and you will hear allot of conflicting stuff about this stuff. :~(

OIC ,sooner or later you just have to go for it,there are as many right ways as there are people.I am one who ignores most of the warnings and just do what needs to be done.

I believe this charger is just like all the rest of the e-cig battery chargers, just a power supply but with multiple connections. Keep in mind, these standard e-cig batteries have the PCB (smart chips) built in to them. The LED you see on the end of most of them is attached to these PCB chips.

Yall have had me back and forth on ordering one of these things. Don't get me wrong... I'm not complaining cause I have learned allot about chargers, and e-cigs, on this thread.

Maybe just an extra safety thing in case the PCB decides not to work. Maybe I would use it as a carry case? Maybe I might even use it to charge a batt while I'm out and about?

Ther's an old poker sayin "I'd pay 20 bucks just to watch a monkey jump a creek". I am leaning on the "forth" side at this point. And... it might help me get some free shipping on a small order I might make.

PapaJoe,

Forget about PCCs for the time being will ya. Chill relax and take a deep breath. Now please answer a few simple questions?
  • for how long have you previously smoked
  • how many cigs a day
  • what is you current mg
  • what are you vaping on (read main PV)
  • what is your battery life
  • are you finding satisfaction with your current set up
  • if not, why not?
We have all been through this I am celebrating 100 days smoke free, the longest I have ever been off the stinkies. I am a rookie, but someone who can help IMHO.

I don't care for a chili recipe, I am a gourmet cook. I want you to answer everyone of those questions, and together we as a vaping community will set you on the right track.

Let's discuss your addiction and lets address it, so we can help you.

Rick, maybe we need a recipe section here? I would love to hear what you cook. I was a Tex Mex chef many years ago. El Chico back when their Tex Mex was top notch.

This thread is about batt chargers but I will answer your quiz.

But first, I got the ecigs for my sweety. She needs to quit worse than me. She smokes two packs a day or did. She is down to 1 pack since she started vaping about a month ago. I am a one pack a day guy. I bought some Helth E Cigs from a local store. Then I ordered some m401s off the net. I was hoping the parts were inter changeable. They are not. I gave those to one of my daughters to try. She will need parts at some point but I have not found a source yet.

Here goes for me;

45 yrs.

One pack

24

m401

about 8 hrs.

Works fine but I still analog

I have not found an e-juice flav that I am crazy about. I just got some Dekang Havana but have not acquired a taste for it yet. Only my 2nd day though. I also got some Rath Chocolate Covered Banana just for fun but have not tried it yet.

I started off at 16mg with mini cigs, it wasn't doing it for me. Upped it to 24mg still no go. It wasn't until the 510 that I got myself of analogs, and of course being stubborn.

I believe you are having such great battery life because you are still on the analogs (how many a day)? Once completely off the analogs, it will probably be cut in half at least. How many batts to you have? A PCC is an expensive battery charger IMHO but a nice feature if on the go all the time. Carrying a spare batt might be just as useful.

The most versatile atomiser out there is the 510. I am not saying go out and buy a 510. Most folks who start out and come to us usually have been con in malls etc...

Wrt juice, DK Tab or Flue cured might be more to your liking as well as RY4. The first 2 are pretty much my all day vapes and similar to tobacco, although you will never get a liquid that tastes like a cigarette. RY4 is the one that got me off my morning ciggy. 10-12 hits tailpiped off a passthru did it for me. I am now down to 4-5 hits at 24 mg first thing in the morning followed by 18mg.
