Although the following info is not for the same battery rating 680 mAh versus 900 mAh. I can safely presume that it applies in my circumstances as well.

3.0V Li-ion RCR123A rechargeable battery
3.0v Li-ion battery charger

It is this info that finally appeased my mind.

BTW this info cannot be found on Tenergy's site, well at least not in PDF format.

"MCQ, I think you meant "have" w/o the "r"."I washed my hands and can't do a thing with them .I leave my batteries on the charger all night all the time.I may be asking for it or I think the manufacturers are just covering thier butts.Kind of like "be careful the coffee may be hot and burn you if you dump it in your lap".The number of battery failures compared to the number of batteries being used is most likely a very small number. And I suspect most people are like me and not really following the rules. That one may come back to haunt me ,some lawyer is probably cutting and pasting it for future reference.

MCQ, I think you are probably right about tha cover butts thing. I still think I will get one a those 401 PCC things. I might even use it for what is is intended sometime?

Rick, hey... I ended up on topic. :~)

It is hard for my thoughts to stray far from food. :~(

I wonder if they make those smart chargers for some of the stuff you old pros use. I know they do for the 401 and 510s. Kinda neat cause you can charge an ecig batt from the batt in the PCC. And it is supposed to be safe to leave a batt in the PCC for as long as you want. It is supposed to shut off when the ecig batt is charged. I know you old timers know about this but some newcomers like me may not.

This is a good thread for anyone concerned about batt saftey.

I don't know much about the PCCs. I never felt a need for one. Isn't a PCC in itself just a battery that is used to charge e-cig batteries? And doesn't the PCC itself require charging? To me having to charge something to charge something else is more than I want to keep up with. But I can see how they would come in handy for being out and about. But I myself have always just loaded my pockets with enough charged batteries before I left anyway. And if need be, I carry a charger and even a 12 volt adaptor to run the charger off my vehicle's cigarette lighter if I have to.

I didn't want to start anything new but Royal is right a PCC is just a larger battery that you charge from your usb .I just found that three or four 801 batteries and a charger at work and two at home kept me going all day. Then I discovered the Kissbox passthrough which I use at home and at work now ,I only use batteries to get me from one passthrough to the other now.
