Hot on the heels of Scott's (igetcha69) review of this is my take on the same offering...

Overall I like the concept as it is a simple way for newer vapers to try out different strengths and also different balances of PG/VG

Anyway, it comes in a box:



with appropriate labeling:



which contains:

• two empty 5ml bottles - as you can see I've been using one of them!
• a 20ml bottle of 0mg VG
• a 20ml bottle of 36mg PG
• a 10ml bottle of flavouring (0mg) - in this case "HS 1"

I noted Scott got a syringe in his sample - I didn't - but he didn't use it - neither did I

The bottles give very nice small drops and can actually be used quite precisely...

I went for making up 24mg liquid - two thirds PG, one third VG and flavour...

Therein hangs a tale - Scott is obvious a "subtle taste" man - I found I needed to use LOTS more flavouring relative to VG - I even made some up which was two thirds PG and one third flavouring! (Which was great)

HS 1

HS 1 is, I'm told "one of our new tobacco favours". Neat in the bottle it has a smell close to that "ashtray" tobacco smell some people covet.

Mixed 2 parts PG to 1 part flavour, it produces a really nice strong tobacco flavour with almost no sweetness and a really tobacco aftertaste - the vapour even smells cig-like (albeit more "toasted" cig tobacco than UK style air-dried). Mixes with less flavouring/more VG are similar but without the same ashtray-ness.

I found that shaking the mix up before use wasn't enough - like that there was a certain "fruitiness" present - but left to stand overnight AND as the bottle emptied and the air got at the mix it gets better and better...

For information - great minds clearly think alike - like Scott, I tested this using my Apex Alpha Ultra with RES

If Hangsen are going to make more tobacco flavourings in this family, there will be a lot of very happy people out there!

(Also like Scott, I got an earlier version of this kit for feedback - again with super strength flavouring, except my was menthol - it certainly cleared the nasal passages!!! Nuff said)
