I would loose the head banger music or at least turn it down some.There might be old people .

You never mentioned the specific atty you were using. Your discussions of the power supplies would have then been meaningful.

As an example the overpriced Kensington with an authentic Joye 510 atty would only provide about 3.3V @ 5 watts.

Billy the BB is a base 510 unit. i use it at any volts between 5-6.5 to adjust for the resistance.
