Filling Cartridges With E-Liquid

To avoid running juice inside the cartridge, and getting a mouthfull, try the following.

Use a paperclip, jewelers screwdriver, tiny Allen wrench or other small, stiff wire object.

Insert your pin in the mouth end of the cartridge and gently push until the inner sleeve containing the fiber rises to the top. This will allow you to drop the liquid into the fiber without spilling it inside the cartridge. When finished, push the sleeve back down into place and push the cartridge on the atomizer.

Actually, it works with most carts.

Hi all, I am a first time user (E-Cigs VaporKing). I bought some e-liquid and empty cartridges from them. Question 1: did I really need those empty cartridges to pour e-liquid into or could I reuse pre-filled ones, 2: how much e-liquid does am empty cartridge take, in drops? Any helpwould be appreciated!

I do not have personal experience with these types of disposables, but from what I have surmised form others, an empty cartomizer will hold about 15 drops or so. My advice, be patient when filling and allow it to seep in to make sure it is full.

As far as the empties, e-lquid is cheaper than buying prefilled carts.

If you have a three peice one that has battery,attomizer and cartridge you can reuse the carts until the filler starts melting and getting nasty tasting then you either throw it out or restuff it with poly like Fluval fish tank filter.On all you just fill until they look like a slushy if a pool apears you have too much just flick it toward a trash can.The two peice ones that have just a battery and a cartomizer I am told can be refilled but I have never tried one.You should be able to google refilling Vaporkings cartridges and find some Youtube videos .Good luck and enjoy.I think the thread about "cartomizers seem like a waste" has some info on refilling cartomizers as some of our people use the KR808's.

I am using a model 510. I have googled around and found that Kingpincigs.com sells what seems to be 510 parts cheaper than E-Cigs and has minimal shipping charges.

The 510 is a goodun ,the extra carts are nice to have .I take them out of circulation when they start to taste funky or the poly gets a melted crust on top or when I switch flavors.When I get a few in my baggie I throw away the poly ,clean them and restuff them with Fluval fishtank filter.There are a lot of suppliers for 510's ,the ones who place bigger orders get better prices which they can choose to pass along to us.Vapor Kings has some good prices ,ElectroNicStix has a good deal on a 5 pack of atty's.

Here's an interesting mod I tried: I took the fiber filling from an empty cartridge and gently inserted it on top of the fiber in another one. This seems to work well (it's still pretty loosely packed since there isn't that much filling in the first place). The result is roughly twice the capacity for the e-liquid and alot of good blasts before it needs refilling.
