I'm using Fluval for my 510 & 4081 carts. I bought the box 1 1/2 years ago, and I only went 1/2 way through one pad so far.

Don't over pack. A little goes a long way. I fill my carts loosly. Too tight, and they won't soak up the juice. It's sort of a trial & error thing.

I have two little bins for each type. I have about 20 to 30 packed and ready to go. The old ones get thrown in the used bin. When the used bin starts to fill up, I sit and repack them.

An hour or so for repacking, and I'm good for months.

I agree with Jim it is a trial and error thing. The least amount you can get away with is best.It also depends on how thick your liquids are as well thinner liquid seems to need more fiber .

The draw should have nothing to do with the tightness of the fiber. (In most cases.) The air holes are not covered with fiber.

If the draw gets harder, try soaking the atty in alcohol and then blow it out. (no high pressure) Clean the other contact areas with alcohol on a Q-Tip.

I've had a blucig for over a month. Love it. But I don't know what size EMPTY carts to buy. I'm currently reusing the carts that came with the free samples from the kit, but would also like to learn how to fill them properly. So many experienced vapers and posters speak of an ejoy and other ecigs and use all the technical jargon which tends to be very confusing (not anyone's fault, just a part of the sophistication process, I guess).

I have a 3 piece blucig - battery, atomizer and cart ? The carts have a little white "cup" inside with the packing in them. I assume I can just replace the filler in these carts with Fluval fish tank filler or the polyester fiber fill sold @ Walmart.

Please tell me if I'm guessing wrong.

Thank you for your insight. :-)

Welcome ,You are correct, you can replace the filler with Fluval or Blue foam ..It does indeed get confusing.
