Default Best material for restuffing
Being farily new to this, I'm curious to know what the best material for restuffing a cartridge is. I know there will many different opinions so please let me know where you can get your favorite restuffing material. I have a LOT of cartridges that need restuffing and I don't know what to do with them.

I use Fluval fish tank filter pads.For the 104/105 204/205 filters a box of those will last quite a while .

It is fluffy and white, kind of looks like cotton. It is usually in a bag. There are two types one is flame retardant the other is not. Get the kind that is not flame retardant. You don't want those chemicals in it.

Or you can go to a pet store and get some fluval. For this you will find it in the aquarium/fish dept.
