Here is a picture of a Joye 510 atomizer, that is relatively new and has only been used for about one week at 5 volts.

This is a Joye 510 after 4 months of use at 5 volts with regular cleanings

This one is a 4072 pen-style used for a few days running at 5 volts.

And here is a Joye 302 pen-style atomizer that I burned out running it at 6 volts for about a week. Not the atomizer's fault, IMO 6 volts is too much for any atomizer made today. It still works but at 15.9 ohms, it is hard to tell if you are getting anything or not. I like the Joye 302 pens-style atomizer best out of all the pen-styles. But as you can see above, this is why I love the Joye 510

I had two versions of the wheel but by the time I reduced them to where I could upload them they were not so good.So it appears to me then that the average person could not find a suitable power supply and these batteries are woefully inadequate.Even a 1 amp 5 volt power supply is being overextended.The regulated power supply you have would not be practical to drag around the house and to work .Kinda explains some of the inconsistancies.How can they sell all those DSE passthroughs that do not have the batteries as it would seem they should not work or is that why mods are selling so well?

I use them on a 5 volt big battery mod. 2 - CR123As with an inline resistor to drop the voltage to 5. I had bought two of the new 280 mah 510 batteries and gave one to Lil Queen. I lost mine somewhere in this house. I liked it much better than the standard 510 batteries. It seemed to perform much better as well and has a longer life cycle on it's charge.
Now I am back to my mod, until I can either find the one I lost or order some more.
