Jim Davis

This is my Review on the DSE905 V2. The mod comes standard with a 901 atty. Since adapters are now available, this mod (with an adapter purchased seperately) can be used with 510, 801, 4081, etc.

I am only commenting on the Mod itself. Atomizers differ, and are the choice of the...

Hopefully it is a cleaning cycle as folks have been complaining how they randomly turn on. A cleaning cycle seems like it would be a bit confusing to those who don't know what it is.

All the electronic stuff that the Chinese products have do affect the vape though. On another forum a member tested the loaded voltage at 3.45V (stock unprotected batts). His straight through, no frills flashlight mods are closer to 3.8V. He said he's going to test to see if protected batts make a difference in the 905 (more added circuitry might lower that number).

I can see where you could have problems putting a protected battery in a protected mod.If you ever looked at one of those tiny circut boards its a wonder any electricity flows though at all ,then line two in a row.

I've never worried about my batteries. Mine are all unprotected. My chargers have the protection circuitry, and when using my Protege, the vapor drops off when the batteries get low. Sort of a no brainer there.

I have two I removed the circut boards from after a connection broke and they work a whole lot better.I think I will try the Trustfire ones instead of the Ultrafire as the latter are pretty poorly constructed.
