I'll start by saying that Frances at Hangsen sent me this kit to review, but I think you all know me well enough to believe you will still be getting the truth as I see it
OK, so what I received was this:
Two ECHO batteries, two ECHOmiser cargo users, a USB charger and an adapter.
NOTE. Scott (Igetcha) reviewed the ECHO recently but the version he reviewed was 901 threaded with auto batteries - the version I received is 510 threaded with manual batteries. So, like the Riva, the ECHO comes in "both flavours" ( and clearly in different colours too)
The batteries I received had no LED at the ends:
and the atomiser connector is fully "Tornegoriva" compatible:
In use the button lights up bright red (it looks rather orange in this photo however):
The ECHOmisers are conical and have standard "eGo" type connections:
The ECHOmisers are fully compatible with TorneGo batteries and
fit perfectly on a Screwdriver using the TW Screwdriver "Tank Adapter"
They fill very Easily by removing the soft rubber whistle tip mouthpiece:
And just dripping down the side of the car to in the same way as filling a Boge-style carto:
They really do hold around 3ml of juice! So a remarkably sized carto for something so simple.
Fully assembled the ECHO looks like this:
So what's it like?
Well actually very good! The cartos really do last a very very long time, wick well and are easy to fill/top up. I haven't found a drip tip that fits them yet though. ( The rubber whistle tips are fine but a bit soft for my taste).
Importantly, the hit is good and flavour very good ( much better than a tank in my view)
So, given the ECHOmisers fit Tornegorivas in this 510 threaded version, I'd say the ECHOmiser may well be just the thing those who find tanks a bit flavourless have been waiting for - and of course, yet another thing to screw onto a Screwdriver if you have a tank adapter. Personally I would use these in preference to a tank every time. (I'd like to try an LR version, they might just be a rival to my beloved LR 901s)
