Well now, I've been taking pictures and even getting archive shots from trog for a "In praise of the Screwdriver" article in celebration of my old SD's second birthday in a week or so, and what does the bugger do? - he brings out a new Screwdriver
Yes folks, amazingly, trog has responded to changes in the market!!! Well only about as much as was strictly necessary mind you. But now, rather than fiddling about trying to find the right combination of adapters, or getting adapters of the right length made, you now buy a SCREWDRIVER TANK version designed to be fitted with Tornego Tank Atomisers!
So, I resisted for about half a second and ordered one... (Yes I know I'm daft)
What's it like, well it's exactly like any other Screwdriver Mk1 except at the atomiser end which looks like this:
And you can screw things onto it l- ike a Tornado LR Tank atomiser in that strange interpretation of the word "Platinum" that TW use:
Or an eGo Mega Cartomiser:
Or a Tornado LR Mega Atomiser:
What's it like to use? It's a Screwdriver - well made, simple, nice to hold, bottom button (like it or not - I do), cheap batteries. And of course, compared to a Tornego, you get more volts (starting at at 4.1 or so with a fresh battery and dropping to 3.7 or so as the battery wanes - at which point you will notice and change the battery...)
So, if you like Tanks, Mega atties and Mega cartos, a worthwhile addition to your collection I'd say. (Actually, I don't like them, but I collect Screwdrivers - I did say I was daft

)
