Tobacco DIY recipe

This is a great simple recipe for a tobacco DIY blend invented by my friend Nuck! Easy to play with it..

Ingredients needed:

Unflavored Ejuice PG or VG base

Tobacco Absolute Essential Oil (TA) NICOTIANA TABACUM (Bulgarian)
Tobacco Absolute

Ethyl Maltol crystalline powder
Ethyl Maltol - crystalline powder - for diluted form, see below

Menthol crystals (optional)- mentha arvensis
Purest alcohol available ie.Everclear, absynthe 70%


First, I prepare these 2-3 dilutions and put aside for several recipe mixes

Tobacco Absolute Dilution:
Dilute Tobacco Absolute oil in purest alcohol available or PG
1 drop TA / 2ml alcohol

Menthol Concentrated mix:
Dissolve Menthol crystal in purest alcohol available - to be used with caution as very potent
25% in 75% Everclear



If you cut your high nic unflavored e-juice , prepare it ahead as well.
for example: cutting 36mg unflavored to 18mg:
50% unflavored 36mg PG
48% VG
2% water

FINAL MIX makes 15ml

Unflavored E-JUICE (if no nic , just use VG or PG)
15 ml

DILUTED Tobacco Absolute :
6 drops / 15ml

CONCENTRATED MENTHOL MIX (optional) :
1 drop/15ml

ETHYL MALTOL :
a pinch /15 ml



SHAKE the final mix and leave overnite for the ethyl maltol to dissolve further.

Note: I prepare for max a week's use to make sure the flavor is fresh..


If you prefer a harsher tobacco taste, add more of the diluted TA drops
If you prefer slightly sweeter taste or need to soften the harshness of TA, add more Ethyl Maltol
The Concentrated Menthol mix is optional and is used to freshen the mix
