Nope, the flavor should be the same whether it has nic or not, but the higher the nic level, the more it seems to give that throat hit that everybody craves. I use Johnson Creek tennessee cured flavor, it does not taste like an analog, but it is a flavor that I use daily and do not grow tired of. It is supposed to be made up of 7 different tobacco flavorings along with a hint of burnt caramel and vanilla. At least that is what I have read. JC recently changed their formulas, but I can't tell any difference in the taste from the old to the new. I am happy that it tastes the same as I love this flavor. I also use Hilton and Mbro from time to time. One thing to remember, that most all of the e-lquids that come from china are from either one of just a couple of manufacturers. Suppliers pay extra to have their own label put on them. So what you get from X supplier is probably the same thing you would get from Y. Unless you buy from JC which is an American made nicquid, or from TW which comes from the UK.
