Actually, I'm a lot less worried about this than before. E-cigs are here to stay. There's always a way around things.

I think people are, or could be, well informed enough that if this is the route they wish to follow to avoid tobacco cigarettes, there is NOTHING any"one" or anything that can be put in place to follow through with their desire to do so.

OR..... they can roll over and play dead and dumb, and go back to smoking analogs. It doesn't matter that government and regulatory bodies have allowed tobacco cigarettes for years (its a powerful business & and huge tax income venue). But, they (or anyone for that matter) is "truely" reponsible for ones own health and the decisions or actions one takes to "get by".

Hell:

- build your own devices.... the info is out there
- grow tobacco and extract the nic.... the info is out there
- create your own flavours to enjoy..... the info is out there

I really don't know why people are getting so upset over fighting for regulatory acceptance of these things to appease a personal drug addiction.

Do what you WANT to do legally (if thats what you wish to do), play the black market (if it comes to that and is what you wish to do), play the healthcare game (if thats what you wish to do), or keep smoking tobacco cigarettes (again, if thats what you wish to do).

Everybody dies...... its a fact.... how you die is up to you.... take your life into your own hands and stop relying on others to provide you an "easy" way to do things.

Sorry if that sounds like a rant, but with over a year into this now, I've recently become very tired of the self entitlement opinions out in the fan base (thats growing and growing and...), who all expect someone else to do something about their habbit where in the end its all up to the individual to take care of things themselves.

No rant there Greg. But what I am getting tired of is the hypocrisy of our collective governments. Like when the non-smoking ban hit NS, no more smoking in public establishments with the exception of the Casino, as the Province owns shares in it. That didn't bode to well with local bars etc... it was reversed, with the exception of the high rollers room. I guess if you can afford $100K entry fee you can afford to die.

Yes it is our addiction, and yes it was our decision, what wasn't our decision was the addition of the chemical c o c k tail from big tobacco, with government support, that made cigarettes highly addictive compared to yesteryear.

If you think for one second that the ban is anything but temporary, until they get the proper regulatory mechanism in place, then... The switch has cost a pile of lost revenue in which they want to recoup, they don't give a rats a... about anyone's health, contrary to popular belief.

... and that's what gets my knickers in a knot. If it wasn't for the loss of revenue, they probably wouldn't even bother with us.

Anyway we are dealing with our addictions and we will have to see what develops...
