Attached is another study done by an approved laboratory on the e-cigarette, specifically the Gamucci.
This once again shows the e-Cig to many times safer than a conventional cigarette.

Didn't look that good to me .They used the word toxicant a lot.Now I have to Google Gamucci.It looks like more of the same stuff just branded with Gamucci.

The GC-MS results also indicate that "2-hydroxy-3-methyl-2-Cyclopenten-1-one" is also present in
the nicotine solution, this is also known as cyclotene hydrate, and gives an odour of Caramel. It is
classed as harmful, and has a toxicity of 1400.00mg/kg (Oral Guinea pig), however the levels seen in the cartridges are very low, and therefore is unlikely to ever reach this toxicity level from everyday usage.

On balance, the Gamucci Ltd ‘Regular’ nicotine solution appears to offer a much safer alternative to the traditional cigarette

While I agree that e-cigg's are far more safer than analogs I am afraid the thought process is not working that way.Instead of using common sense and calculated risk to decide things ,in America we have a tendency these days to play it safe ,if just one person gets harmed it is too many is what you will hear.And to the logical reply how many will be harmed by analogs they will reply that they need to be stricken from the face of the earth.This theme is played out in everything from pharmaceuticals to asbestos ,seat belts ,airbags ,smoke detectors.While they all are very good ideas legislating them as law is not a good idea.We should be allowed to decide for ourselves what risk levels we consider acceptable and just as important we should accept the consequences of our decisions and not look for someone else to lay the blame on.It hasn't been that long ago when all the lawsuits were flying over suv rollovers even though the amount of miles traveled safely vastly outnumbered the few rollovers it cost a lot of people jobs in the long run.As it is harder to sue a foreign company than a domestic one.

I guess the thing I see as the nail in the coffin is nicotine is still addictive ,no arguments I don't think ,but by making e-juice with candy ,soda pop and fruit flavors the people who are smarter than us and are watching out for us will argue that the ecigg industry is trying to hook another generation on nicotine.While there are a lot of people who have used ecigg's to beat the addiction and only vape no nic ,there are a lot more who don't have any intention to cut down and just want it strong or stronger.

I guess there are a lot of things that are addictive. I am addicted to food, but you don't hear anybody wanting to take away our rights to eat.

OK, some radicals would like to see certain foods banned, beef for instance. But to reply to an old quote from Ule Gibbons, I have never eaten a pine tree, nor do I ever care to. Some parts are eatable you know.

I was at a party and I ate what I thought was a peanut butter cookie with peanuts on it turned out it was a pine nut cookie.I have got to quit eating first and asking questions later.
