Amazon.com dropping e-Cigs

Looks like ASH is at it again.

Amazon.com Dropping E-Cigarette Sales // Action Follows Notice of Potential Legal Liability

ASH citing the FDA report that in a couple of samples they analyzed found
"deadly toxins and cancer-causing chemicals". What they continue to fail to mention is from I have heard, these chemicals were in barely detectable trace amounts, and that the tests had to be ran using a scale of parts per billion instead of the standard parts per million.
Nowhere have I found that they have pubicly stated the actual levels of these chemicals versus the levels found in conventional cigarettes, as all of these same chemicals are also found in conventional cigarettes.
And not to mention the fact that in order for the FDA to regulate conventional cigarettes, they were deemed as safe.
In my opinion, if big tobacco or big Pharma were making these e-cigs, it would be a totally different story.

I can only speak for myself, but I can say that e-cigs have saved me. I had smoked cigarettes for over thirty five years and had tried all kinds of methods to quit to no avail, until I tried an e-cig.
I went from smoking two packs a day to none, using only an e-cig and reduced the nicotine levels to zero. This allowed me the ability to cope with nicotine withdrawals much more easily than had ever been possible. Since then my breathing has greatly improved, I am no longer congested, and I feel better and have more energy. Without the e-cig, I surely would have been heading to an early grave. But now, big corruption would rather have us smoke cigarettes and are using arguments like it intices children to smoke because the e-cig has flavors. I guess we should rename the flavors to names like "Yuck, Nasty, and tastes like crap", maybe that would appease them.

I'm wondering if the UK amazon will drop then or not, we don't have any campaign against e-cigs going on here? (I haven't seen UK based companies being hit by Paypal either as yet)

Sure enough - amazon.com has purged e-cigs and amazon.co.uk still has them, UK companies still have paypal, and now I note ASH UK are far more rational about e-cigs than the USA version:

The divergence of US and UK treatment of e-cigs is very noticable...
