Now I see why people enjoy vaping so much. This stuff is yummy and the taste is So much better than the stuff that was in the smoke51 trio carts or any analog/cigarette that I ever smoked. It's only an 11mg nic level but it tastes so good I'm getting a buzz from it. I'm going to mix some with vg to cut down the nicotine and enjoy my vaping experience.

Discovered ecigs are "not" bad for our health. I have often felt it's not just the nicotine I crave as much as it's like an adult binky. Psychological hand to mouth thing. Have been doing heavy research for the last 5 days.
Nic gum costs too much, analogs cost too much, not to mention bad for health, smelly etc.
Feeling much more positive about vaping especially since I found this forum.
Have a joye eGo on its way and some Tennesse Cured from Johnson Creek. Hope to make my own juice. I already have the vg and a Lorann flavoring. Found the Perfumers Apprentice for flavoring, sounds interesting. Also found the unflavored nicotine juice. Probably will get the 36mg then cut it in half with vg to make it 18mg

This is my first day on e-smokers-forum.com

Contrary to a lot of other members, I only learned about the e.cigarette a few weeks ago. Curious as I am I decided to give it a try.

I asked around and to start off with the USB passthrough was recommended to me. With it came a bottle of 'Tobacco' flavored liquid, nicotine level 18 mg.

I didn't much like it. The 18 mg was too light for me and I still smoked. I cut down on the analogs though, I went from 1,5 packets a day to half a packet a day.

Then I went to a get together of ex-smokers and was introduced to the 510 and the KR8. Along with it I was given samples of Marlboro Red (18 mg) and 555 (24 mg).

In addition I was shown has to properly vape. I had been puffing on the e.cig like I was puffing an analog and as it turned out, this was wrong. I had to slow down.

This technique, along with the 555 (24 mg) liquid was very satisfactory. When I came home I didn't smoke and the next morning I didn't light up.

I remained smoke free for the next 6 days and then it happened.
I read somewhere how vapors had tried an analog and how disgusted they had been with the smell and taste. I wondered if this could be true. So I lit up an analog that I still had in my coat pocket.

The analog didn't smell or taste horrible to me, in fact I enjoyed it very much.
Well and that was it, I smoked the packet empty. You could say that I fell off the wagon and I fell hard.

Then I Goodled electronic smoking forums and found this site.
I've only met one member, but he's been very helpful.

I want to quit smoking analogs, I really do, but I have a feeling it's gonna be very difficult.

Follow my journey and I'll keep you posted and smoking and anything else. Smile1

Good day, and Welcome to ESF.
My name is Royal, and I, along with my wife, Lil Queen are your Admins.

This blog was started so that I may be able to tell you a little about ESF, what our forum phylosophy is, and how ESF came to be.

Over the past few years, I have been active on many different types of forums, and was a moderator on several of them. A couple of them with well over half a million members.

A little over a year ago, I discovered like all of us here, the e-cigarette. I found it was my way out from the clutches of big tobacco. I had smoked for 35 years and on many occasions had tried unsuccessfully to quit.
With this new device, came a lot of questions. Questions that I found answers to from others on forums about the e-cig. I became active on these forums as well, and even served as a moderator on one. But as the popularity of the e-cig grew, and so did these forums, I found to my disliking, they were quickly being taken over by those with commercial interests. And too much of what I was seeing was looking more and more like a fan site for some of the more popular suppliers. And flame wars and trolling was fast becoming the commonplace on these forums that I once called home.
This made me feel like picking up my toys and getting out of the sand box.

It was then that I decided it was time to strike out on my own. I felt a strong urge to do my part in educating the masses about our beloved e-cigs, and to help other fellow smokers to find a better alternative, or to even quit.
And to do it with little to no commercial content, I knew would come with a lot of out of pocket expenses, but to me it would be worth it, if I could create a forum that could offer both the experienced and the newbie e-cig user a place to feel at home. A place where one could post their views, questions and opinions on a subject without bias, or fear of being viewed as such, or being flamed for their views.

And so it came to be, on June 12, 2009
http://www.e-smokers-forum.com was born.

e-Smokers-forum.com is just that, it is a forum for the e-Smoker, and not the e-cigarette, so you won't find a bunch of recognized suppliers pushing their wares here. With this in mind, ESF is a bit different than the rest, but we like it this way.

ESF is also about quality over quantity. By this we mean, ESF does not care about being the biggest, but we do strive to be the best. But this doesn't mean that every post has to be informative. For it is also about meeting and making new friends who also happen to share the same interests. And there is nothing wrong with getting silly. Joking around and humor is something we all need more of in our lives. To us being the best means making all our members feel at ease, in a peaceful and friendly environment.

So pull up a chair and make yourself at home.
There's drinks in the fridge and e-juice on the table. smokin smily
