Cool.

It took a lot longer to do with the epoxy coated cardboard thing.
That's odd as i thought that made the job go faster. I first was going to use some plastic plexi I had and gave up after about 5 minutes of struggling to cut it. Oh well. I think you'll love how long the 18650 holds a high charge and how long it lasts.

It was easier ,but waiting for epoxy to cure drives me nutz ,I just wanted to keep building until it was done.I used a bolt and a stack of nutz to hold the insulator in place and level while the epoxy dried,so I had to wait for the carboard to dry then I had to wait for it to dry in the tube.I kinda like the box mods where I can put the switch on the top next to the atty so it doesn't get pressed when not in use a little better.

My 18650 batteries and charger arrived today from MadVapes .Wow those batteries are huge ,I had no idea how big they would be.I couldn't even have guessed from building the mod they will fit into how big they are. They are almost charged I can't wait to try them out.
the 10440 is in the middle the 18650's are just over 2 1/2 inches long.

I am always on the lookout as well.I like rummaging at the Goodwill while my wife is "shopping".I haven't tried to see how long a fully charged 18650 battery will last before it goes dead ,but I can use one all day long when I am not using a passthrough and it never runs out.

Well how's the hit. The 10440's you were using probably sagged rather quickly into so-so vape land.

I guess I am not the guy to ask ,I cannot tell much difference ,I use 302's ,510's and 901's and they all seem pretty much the same to me except the carts last longer on the 302's.I for sure don't like above four volts vaping .I guess I would just say the monster batteries are just like always having a fresh battery or being on a Kissbox passthrough.I could go most of the day on a single 10440 and all day on one of my double 10440's.

If I was to offer a rule of thumb in my limited experience, battery duration equates to approximately 1 to 1.5hr per every 100 mah give or take. This of course will depend on the vaper, but it is pretty darn close for someone who smoked 1-1.5 packs/day.

That about matches what I experienced from my stock batteries, the 10440's I got were pretty much junk until I removed the protection board and now they are ok.If you are going to buy 10440 batteries pay extra for the silver Trustfire ones,I have not tried them but I am sure the blue Ultrafire 10440's will let you down .Chris from VaporTalk syas the Trustfires are good ,but he sells them .Having said that he is the only supplier I ever heard of to pull a bad choice of a flavor of liquid from his store and offer replacements to any unsatisfied customer at his expense.

You sure like to make people's head spin I kept it simple Bolded text is about what I use to suck on when smoking, and about what I get out of a batt. Didn't even have to use a calculator.

Many folks get overwhelmed with the data you provided. This has been evident in some of the threads I have read. So we can confuse and turn off the individual with mumbo jumbo or assist him in trying to make an educated decision. Of course all of this is IMHO, and KISS.
