If anyone gives you a strange look when using one of those, you could always just hold it up next to your ear and say, "Hello, can you here me now?"

All kidding aside, two 14500s in parallel is most definately an all day vapin' machine.

Nice mods mcquinn.

I had one with 10440's and for some reason I just never got around to doing a 14500 untill now.The current inrush is way higher .I actually burnt out a Joye 306 atty.Usually they meet thier demise from carbon buildup.Trying to decide if I should try a pair of IMR 14500's in it.If I could find some that didn't need the spacer I might try it.

The actual battery shell is standard stuff. The IMRs have no protection circuit, hence they will always be shorter.

The button on the + end is almost flat and it won't reach the connection in box mods without a spacer.I use the business end of 1/4" Sta-conn for mine. But I only have 1 on hand.Seems like the higher current from the get go heats things up quicker and give a little better vape than a LC 14500 @ 3.7,almost as hot as 4 volts on my passthrough.
