Default High Drain vs Standard Batteries?

What's the difference between high drain and standard bats? I'm debating either trying 5v with low res cartos but I don't want to waste my money if high drain can give me just as much vapor.

I just ordered two 14500 high drain from ENS,I will let you know if there is any difference with standard resistance atties and cartos.

BDL IMR14500 3.7 V HIGH DRAIN BATTERY (600mAh)

THESE ARE LITHIUM MAGNESIUM BATTERIES

YES THEY WILL WORK IN THE TR-001 TRUSTFIRE CHARGER!

THESE BATTERIES ARE "HIGH DRAIN" THEY WILL LAST MUCH LONGER THAN STANDARD 14500 BATTERIES PER CHARGE! THESE WILL ROCK YOUR MOD'S SOCKS!"
They were the same price so I thought I would give them a shot. They actually are posted to have 300 less mAh's than the lithium ion 14500's.

I use the AW high drains now-that's all I'll buy from now on.

I got mine in and they charged in about the same time, they seem to vape a little hotter than regular 14500's but not as hot as 5 volts.I think they last a few hours longer on a charge. The ones I got didn't have the button on the positive end so I had to make a spacer to make contact in my box mods,I have read others have to use spacers on the popular mods as well.Since they didn't cost more I would consider buying more .I only use standard resistance atties and carto's ,they may shine on LR .I will never know.As i understand it LR stuff may draw too much current from standard batteries causing the protection circut to kick in ,but these are supposed to have a higher current cutout setting.
