If what Fogie said about the gurgling thing and having to get the fluid directly on the bridge, sounds like it would not be very efficient. But then again, I never pulled a Fogie.
certainly when i vape i use a 3ml travel bottle if you will and only need to have about 3 drops per vape session. so my atty always used what was dropped on it. made for a shorter life but when i compared my experience with a 901 is compared to a PS protage it is on par. i should also add i like my dripping 901 to not have bridges as well i drip right into the pot. if i can find a good macro cam ill snap a few pic when i can to show you.

i find the removal of the atty bridge and fibers to make it easier to direct drip and get a better vape hit. it decreases the Resistance of the atty which in turn uses more power on the atty it self V.s Power loss due to the standard resistances. my 901 without atty bridge fells like a 510 on my protege. throat hit is awesome and vape cloud nicely displayed.

in summary 901 dripping without Atty bridge or fibers for me made it easier to drip and control juice usage.
PS protage with 510 no modification to atty fells the same to me as my 901 dripping atty with out the control on juice usage.
