I don't have mine yet, so I can't say for sure but the design of the "original" SD does not permit stacking, so is my understanding of the device.
The DSE 905 is the one with the LED, the original SD by Trog does not have one.
To my understanding and although a little confusing on their site, the delta between the MK I and MK II is the switch, a venting capacity around the new switch, a switch protective cover and 2 holes for the lanyard or to hold the switch cover.
