Yea, that is what they say. I figure this too was based on the 1940s study. We can make of it what we will. Also, keep in mind, in the 1940s studies, the environment was heavily fogged with PG vapor before the virus was introduced. And in the chlidrens wards, the atmosphere was fogged, so it was doing it's job outside the body.
What little PG vapor is produced by an e-Cig IMO, is not enough to do anything or be of any benefit in this manner.
For me to consider this as any kind of viable action, one would have to walk around carrying one of those theatrical stage show fog machines, engulfing themselves in a cloud of vapor.
I can see it now, everywhere you look is a person walking in a cloud. hmmm, sounds like heaven.
I don't know how long it takes a virus to enter our system once it has made it's way into our bodies, but it can't be very long, especially if it entered through the eyes, nose, mouth or lungs. Once it enters our system, I would presume there is no way to fog it with PG anymore, so if any of this is true, then one would have to be holding or inhaling PG vapor at the exact same moment the virus entered., but that is only for the lungs, still have the other areas to contend with.
IMO, I think a lot of times these viruses are transmitted by hand. A person gets the germ on their hands, then touches their face, rubs their eyes, nose, ears, what have you.
In this perspective, IMHO, there is no way that e-Smoking is going to keep you from getting sick.
